Synopsis

The story follows the love life of Parit (Krissada Pornweroj), a nerdy and old-fashioned young man with a doctorate who was once ordained as a monk and deeply devoted to Buddhism. However, when his father suffered an accident, he had to leave the monkhood to take care of his father and mother (Natha Lloyd). He worked to earn money while studying hard to secure scholarships. Throughout his studies, he worked tirelessly to ease his mother's burden until he graduated with a Master's degree. He began working as an organizational development consultant and continued his studies until he earned his Ph.D. Parit knew absolutely nothing about women. He had no friends because people around him thought he was boring, until he met Pantaree (Khemupsorn Sirisukha), the only granddaughter of the owner of a national lingerie company, for which he also worked as a consultant.
The two start dating, with Parit completely unaware that the men in her family are notorious, incorrigible playboys (known in Thai slang as "slippery eels"). Eventually, the two get married. Their married life begins alongside problems caused by the male members of her family. When the wives of the family's men start comparing their husbands to the perfect Parit, the men refuse to lose face. They plot to drag Parit down to their level and make him join their gang. Purim (Thanakrit Panichwid) and Panjapon (Suriyon Aroonwattanakul) befriend him, invite him to play golf, and hire Kusuma (Pimaksiporn Wingomin), a beautiful and sexy lingerie model, to be his golf instructor. Their goal is to break his moral discipline and turn him into a fellow "eel." Kusuma does not disappoint them.
Through their close interactions, Kusuma begins to fall in love with Parit and wants him to take her in as his mistress. Parit starts to waver, becomes selfish, and begins to stray from his righteous path. When Pantaree catches him, Parit admits his mistake and promises never to get involved with Kusuma again. This angers Kusuma, who hates that Parit is so afraid of his wife. Meanwhile, Kusuma gets kicked out of her place by an old fling, so she uses the opportunity to beg Parit to take care of her. However, Parit only allows her to stay at his condo for a strict three months.
Extremely dissatisfied, Kusuma plots to cause a misunderstanding between Parit and his wife by falsely claiming that Pantaree is threatening her. However, Pantaree sees through the lie and hires a private investigator to tail Kusuma constantly, looking for a way to expose her true behavior. When Parit discovers the truth, he kicks Kusuma out of the room and promises his wife once again that he will never make the same mistake.
As time passes, the playboy gang plans another secret night out. Parit absolutely refuses, but he eventually falls for their tricks and ends up joining them as usual. That night, Kusuma finds out the playboy gang is coming. She secretly slips sleeping pills into Parit's drink, takes staged photos making it look like they are sleeping together, and sends them to Pantaree. Furious, Pantaree demands a divorce from Parit, right after she had just discovered she was pregnant.
That same night, Tycoon Piti (Settha Sirachaya), her grandfather, suffers a heart attack from over-excitement, forcing the playboys to rush him to the hospital. Pantaree is furious with her father and brother for ruining her family. She scolds them and runs away from home. Parit frantically searches for his wife but only finds the divorce papers she left with her lawyer, waiting for his signature.
Three months later, Parit visits an elderly monk whose words finally bring him back to his senses. He and the playboy gang brainstorm and search everywhere until they finally find his wife. However, he is shocked to discover that she is 5 months pregnant. Heartbroken that he missed the opportunity to take care of her, he devises a plan to win her back, bringing all the evidence he has to clear his name. Feeling guilty for what they did to Pantaree's family, the playboy gang also begs her to forgive her husband. Her heart finally softens, and they reconcile at last.
