Dok Som See Thong

Raya Wongsawet is a beautiful young woman around 20 years old. She has sharp, exotic features and smooth tan skin, looking more Middle Eastern or Indian than Thai. Since childhood she has hated studying and always found excuses to skip school. Even after entering university, Raya leaves home every day in a student uniform but never actually goes to class.
One day she attends an interview with Sinthorn, the Director of Human Resources at Siam Transnation Airways, a major airline company. Raya applies to become a flight attendant—an occupation many young women dream of because it offers travel, comfort, and opportunities to meet people from around the world. Although she has not even completed her third year of university, her strong ambition pushes her to lie about both her age and education.
Sinthorn immediately recognizes both her ambition and her beauty. However, he has limited time to pursue her because he must always return home punctually to his wife Denchan Cholathee, a powerful woman whose wealth and influence have given him everything he has.
Denchan is the only daughter of Dech Cholathee, a wealthy and influential tycoon in Chonburi. She met Sinthorn while studying in London, and just two months later they married in a grand ceremony. Denchan never finished her studies and never cared who Sinthorn really was—she simply insisted on marrying him.

Raya’s Origins

Raya was born in an old red mansion along Khlong Phasi Charoen, owned by the wealthy Chinese patriarch Cheng Sue Kiang. Her mother Lam-yong (nicknamed Duad) was of Mon descent. Lam-yong was raised by her grandmother Lumphao, who worked in the mansion’s kitchen.
The mansion housed the tycoon’s four wives:

1. Meng-hua – the first wife from China, who managed the household.
2. Yen-ling – the second wife, elegant but secretly jealous and cruel.
3. Mei-gui (Rose) – the third wife, a former Chinese opera performer.
4. Kham-kaew – the gentle fourth wife from northern Thailand.

Lam-yong eventually fell in love with Bang-dun, a security guard working at a nearby building owned by an Englishman. Their love led to pregnancy, but before he could marry her properly, Bang-dun was killed while bravely stopping a thief.
With no husband and pregnant, Lam-yong faced disgrace. The cunning second wife Yen-ling manipulated the situation so the patriarch would believe the child was his responsibility, forcing the household to care for Lam-yong.
Lam-yong gave birth to a daughter—Raya.
Because Raya looked more like her Indian-looking father than Thai people, everyone mockingly called her “Khaek” (foreigner), a nickname she hated deeply. Even as a small child she was proud, aggressive, and extremely ambitious.
She preferred calling herself “Fah” (Angel) because she dreamed of becoming someone powerful and admired.

Raya’s Rise

As an adult, Raya begins a secret affair with Sinthorn. They travel and meet secretly overseas until his wife discovers the relationship. Sinthorn is forced to end the affair but compensates Raya with money and helps her get a job with an American airline.
Later, while working as a flight attendant, Raya meets Kongkiat Jenpanichsak, the eldest son of the wealthy Cheng family—the same family whose mansion she grew up in.
Despite knowing he is already married to Nareudee, Raya seduces him and becomes his mistress. Kongkiat eventually supports her financially.
Raya grows increasingly obsessed with replacing his wife and even demands magical charms to make him love her exclusively.

Tragedy

Her mother Lam-yong eventually learns the truth about Raya’s life as a mistress and is devastated. After confronting the past at the red mansion and discovering terrible consequences from old lies, Lam-yong dies tragically in a car accident.
Despite everything, Raya continues pursuing wealth and power. She becomes pregnant with Kongkiat’s child, hoping it will secure her place.
She gives birth to a son—the first male heir of the Cheng family—but later grows bored with motherhood and returns to her extravagant lifestyle.

The Final Twist

Raya meets a mysterious wealthy psychiatrist known as C.K. and falls deeply in love with him.
Later she discovers the shocking truth:
C.K. is actually Kiatikorn Jenpanichsak, Kongkiat’s younger brother—the “young master” of the Cheng family.
He reveals he never loved her and only tested her character. He always knew she was the same ambitious girl from the red mansion who grew up to become his brother’s mistress.
Heartbroken and humiliated, Raya leaves the mansion in complete despair.
