Synopsis

Pan or Phanphon Thepprathan (Katreeya English), a beautiful young woman, is a highly skilled traditional Thai dancer who deeply impresses her audience. Her performances are so captivating that a foreign friend of M.R.W. Rachanat Thewaphan requests a life-sized painting of Pan in her dancing costume. Chai Yai (Saharat Sangkapreecha) is mesmerized by Pan, falls deeply in love with her, and eventually asks her to marry him, with the consent of his father.
Actually, Chai Yai had known Pan since they were children when Chai Yai evacuated to Phak Hai to escape World War II. When the war ended, the group of city children, including Chai Yai, Ying On (Rinlanee Sripen), and his biological niece Iad (Namfon Kullanut) and Lek (Patchata Nampan), children of Rasee (Siriporn Wongswat), the older sister of Prapha (Supranee Charoenphon) and Major General Phoka (Suchao Pongwilai), returned to Bangkok. That day, Pan secretly sneaked onto the boat until Lek noticed her. Pan asked to follow them to study in Bangkok. Prapha agreed to sponsor Pan, and Rasee helped enroll Pan in a dramatic arts school and gave her a new name, Phanphon Thepprathan, replacing her original name, Pan Danna.
Pan's decision to marry Chai Yai breaks the heart of Toern (Kosin Ratchakrom), a young man from Phak Hai who had been Pan's friend since childhood. Pan acts as if she had never loved him before. Defeated by life, Toern runs away. Along the way, Nan (Sukon Sasijulaka) and Hathai (Boromwut Hiranyatithi) find Toern physically and mentally ill. The two bring Toern to recover at their family's vacation home in Huai Sai, not far from Phoka's vacation home. There, Toern finds his childhood photo and realizes that Nan was one of the city children who evacuated to Phak Hai during the war. Both Nan and Hathai are delighted and allow Toern to stay at the house indefinitely.
The person most distressed by Toern's disappearance is Iad, Lek's older sister. Ying On begins to suspect that Iad secretly loves Toern because Toern had become close to the family since Phak Hai. When they continued their studies in Bangkok, Toern and Lek still studied together. Lek and Ying On are worried because Iad won't open up to anyone about her love, but Iad's condition worsens to the point of falling ill.
Pan begins to play a role in the Suan Thip Palace, much to the dissatisfaction of the old-timers. At the same time, Hathai, who had seen Pan before, is determined to invite Pan to be the leading actress in a new movie, "Lom Luang" (Deceptive Wind). Hathai follows up to get to know Pan, with Nan introducing them, and reminisces about their past acquaintance with Ying On.
Iad's illness does not improve, so Prapha takes Iad to rest at Huai Sai, with Lek and Ying On dropping them off. There, Iad coincidentally meets Toern, and the two show great friendship towards each other. The happiness of others makes Pan troubled in her heart. And when Pan learns that Chai Yai, who has been working too hard, falls ill with pulmonary tuberculosis, Pan becomes even more anxious but tries to keep up appearances by acting as a good daughter-in-law of the Suan Thip Palace, though it contradicts her true feelings. Finally, Pan contacts Hatsadin Pictures to agree to act in the movie "Lom Luang," causing Chai Yai to be unhappy and leading to severe family problems.
"Lom Luang" is highly successful, becoming a million-baht blockbuster, and Pan herself becomes famous as a new star. Pan wants to divorce Chai Yai, but Chai Yai refuses, so she returns to live with Prapha. On the day Lek returns from a party and Pan is waiting to close the door for him, Pan plots to pretend that Lek assaulted her. Lek cannot remember what happened but tells Ying On, causing relationship problems between Lek and Ying On.
The Prince sees that Chai Yai's health has not improved and notices the tension between Pan and Ying On, who can't look at each other. The Prince plans to take Chai Yai and Ying On to recover in Hua Hin, leaving Pan at the Suan Thip home. Pan secretly tears up a photo of Lek in Ying On's bedroom, a photo Lek gave Ying On on the day he confessed his love. Pan apologizes to Ying On and implies it's a farewell. At midnight, Khab shouts from the room that Pan took pills to kill herself. The Prince asks Ying On what is going on. Ying On tells the Prince about Lek and Pan. The Prince is so heartbroken that he falls ill and passes away. Ying On blames herself for not taking good enough care of her father.
Chai Yai has to travel to the provinces for work and, worried about Ying On, asks Iad to stay with her as a companion. Lek comes to see Ying On out of concern. Pan finds out, is displeased, and plots to cause a misunderstanding. Pan goes to Nan and pretends to borrow Nan's book, inserting a letter she wrote into the book so Ying On and Nan will misunderstand each other. Coincidentally, Iad and Toern visit Ying On, and Toern asks to borrow the book before Nan lends it to Ying On. Toern sees the letter Pan inserted and figures out Pan's plan. Pan tries to make Toern believe she didn't do it on purpose but that it's true, and asks Toern to stay out of it. Pan leaves Toern, pondering how to solve the problem, until she meets someone from the film crew, Chen Chingchai, who needs money. Pan quickly plans to eliminate Ying On from Lek's life forever.
When Ying On returns home, Sa-eung says that Professor Weera called to say Chai Yai is sick at Professor Weera's house and will send a car to pick up Ying On from the palace to take her to Professor Weera's house. Lek hears the news and calls to check at Professor Weera's house, finding out he hasn't returned from the provinces and Chai Yai is fine. Lek rushes to the Suan Thip Palace and goes out looking for Ying On.
Meanwhile, Iad and Ying On are negotiating with Chen to let them go. Finally, Chen agrees to release them and asks for a promise not to press charges. Ying On and Iad return, and Lek rushes out of the house to welcome them, only to find Pan blocking the front of the house and pointing a gun at him, threatening to kill Lek with Toern's gun that Pan had secretly stolen.
Will Pan decide to shoot Lek? And how will the love between Lek and Ying On, and Toern and Iad end? Follow the drama "Duang Ta Sawan" (Eyes of Heaven) every Monday and Tuesday at 8:30 PM on Thai TV Color Channel 3. The first episode premieres on Tuesday, January 18th.
