Synopsis
The intense training to become a secret agent for Ram (Weir Sukollawat Kanarot), a billionaire heir who cut ties with his family to wear the police uniform, has finally come to an end. Along with this comes the beginning of an important mission: infiltrating the drug trafficking syndicate of a mafia godfather.
At Suvarnabhumi Airport, an international flight is heading to Macau. Mekhala (Pancake Khemanit Jamikorn), a beautiful flight attendant, happily serves the passengers with a smiling face. Being an "angel" on an airplane is the sole pride in the life of this young woman who was raised in an orphanage. Mekhala received kindness from an anonymous benefactor who provided her with a scholarship. This nourished her growth into the person she is today. Therefore, she resolved to repay her benefactor's kindness by being a good person and passing on the love and compassion she received to everyone she meets, especially the passengers she interacts with every day. No matter what help they need, Mekhala never tires of taking the best care of them.
Today is another busy day of taking care of passengers with barely a moment to rest. Unbeknownst to her, Ram and two drug traffickers, Saeng (X-Thitinan Suwannasak) and Yen (Aong-Pattana Phanthewa), are mingling among the passengers on this flight. Ram is dressed in crumpled, foul-smelling clothes, acting like a man who doesn't care about anything around him. He pretends to fall asleep with his head leaning out, blocking the aisle. Mekhala intends to wake him up, but Yen, one of the drug dealers, gets a cramp and calls for her. Mekhala rushes over to help him until the cramp is gone. A fellow flight attendant comes over to complain that a man secretly groped her bottom, mistakenly thinking it was Ram. However, the real culprit is a well-dressed businessman sitting next to Ram. Angry on behalf of her friend, Mekhala marches over to politely scold Ram, but he continuously provokes her until she almost loses her patience. Fortunately, the plane prepares to land, and Mekhala rushes back to her duties. She has no idea that after getting off the plane, Ram catches the perverted businessman, breaks his wrist, and threatens to break his neck if he ever bullies women again, warning him to act as appropriately as the expensive clothes he wears. In reality, Ram is undercover on this flight to monitor the behavior of the drug dealers, Saeng and Yen.
That evening, Mekhala checks into a hotel in Macau and brings along a massive shopping list of items her friends asked her to buy, as she is too kind-hearted to refuse anyone (even when a taxi driver faked a breakdown to drop her off halfway, Mekhala kindly helped push the car). While returning to her room, she sees Ram acting suspiciously, picking the lock of the drug dealers' room without a key. Convinced Ram is a thief, Mekhala bursts into the room to catch him red-handed, only to find Ram standing half-naked. He even pretends to try and assault her, accusing her of offering sideline services. Mortified, Mekhala barely manages to flee the room. Although Ram claims it is his room, Mekhala doesn't believe him and rushes to report it to the hotel security. Meanwhile, Ram quickly plants a listening device in Saeng and Yen's room before leaving. When the security guards arrive, they find nothing unusual, not even signs of a forced entry. Mekhala is determined to find a way to catch this thief so he won't cause trouble for anyone else. During this time, Ram manages to get close to and befriend the two mafia henchmen.
That very night, Mekhala encounters an unexpected event that impacts her future. Inside Saeng and Yen's room, a chemical transaction is taking place to produce drugs in Thailand, while Thai police officer Lieutenant Phakphum (Hemawat Nittayaros) and Hong Kong police are eavesdropping in the next room. Mekhala ends up knocking on the door to warn Saeng and Yen that someone sneaked into their room earlier that evening, almost ruining the operation. The criminals stop the deal, and the police are forced to raid the room. A fight breaks out. Ram follows his plan to help Saeng and Yen escape with the money when they are cornered. The criminals don't realize that Lt. Phakphum intentionally let them go. Although the plan to insert Ram into the mafia gang to find the real boss is successful, the police fail to seize the chemicals that the Hong Kong mafia escapes with. Lt. Phakphum is furious with Mekhala, detaining and interrogating her, which causes her to miss her scheduled flight. Finding no suspicious evidence, the police release Mekhala back to Thailand.
However, Mekhala's bad luck doesn't end there. Upon returning, she finds herself suspended indefinitely because the executives are displeased that she caused trouble and damaged the company's image. She drags herself back to her luxury condo only to find a foreclosure notice. Mekhala is shocked because she has been paying the mortgage on time every month by giving the money to her best friend, Rose (Jeab Chompoonuch Piyathamchai), to pay on her behalf while she was flying. Mekhala hunts down her cheating friend, intending to drag her to the police, but her heart softens when she learns Rose used the money to pay off her mother's gambling debts. Mekhala declares she is cutting ties with Rose, but Rose doesn't seem alarmed because Mekhala has said this many times but never actually followed through. Rose herself feels guilty towards the friend she grew up with at the orphanage (Rose had since found her mother). But with her job selling cosmetics in the market, she couldn't earn enough to pay off the debt in time. Rose is hardworking but often secretly sells fake perfumes and cosmetics, getting arrested and fined frequently by the police, and Mekhala is always the one who bails her out.
Mekhala storms in to see Songwat Rattanamanee (Poodum Saranrat Rumruangwong), the owner of dozens of Rattanamanee condo businesses in the city center, to ask for an extension on the foreclosure. Before they can talk, Songwat receives news from a private investigator abroad that her stepson, whom she lost contact with years ago, has been found and is currently in Thailand. Songwat is so shocked she faints. Mekhala finds her and rushes her to the hospital. When Songwat regains consciousness, she immediately asks Ruangrit (Kob Songsit Rungnopakunsi), her husband's younger brother, to find Ram and bring him home. Ruangrit agrees willingly, but no one realizes that he actually doesn't want Ram to return and take over the company that he believes should belong to him, rather than a playboy like Ram. Hearing that his stepmother is in the hospital, Ram secretly goes to see her from outside the room but refuses to go in, even though deep down he is worried. Due to past misunderstandings, Ram cannot erase the hatred from his heart.
Flashback to his teenage years: Rote Rattanamanee, Ram's father, died of cancer and left his estate to his twin sons, Lak and Ram, assigning his stepmother Songwat to manage the estate and asking her to ensure his sons inherit the business. Songwat strictly followed her late husband's orders, raising Lak and Ram rigorously to be the best in everything. The pressure caused Lak to overdose on sleeping pills and die. Ram blamed Songwat. When Songwat sent the rebellious Ram to study abroad, it further convinced him that she wanted to get him out of the way to seize his father's fortune. Ram became a delinquent, joined bad crowds, and stole until he was sent to a juvenile detention center. There, he met Kongphop, a senior police officer. Kongphop showed him kindness, helping him turn his life around and encouraging him to enroll in the police academy. But instead of becoming a regular police officer after graduating, Ram requested to train as a secret agent and became a subordinate of Kongphop (Num Surawut Maikun), who is now the Commander of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau.
Ram had been working undercover with criminals in various countries until recently, when Kongphop, whom he respects like a father, requested him to return to work in Thailand. His mission is to become a close subordinate to "Pho Liang" Pongtham (Ao Thapakorn Disayanun), a major drug lord who uses a northern tea plantation as a front. However, Pongtham is not the main target. The person Kongphop wants is the "Big Boss," the true mastermind behind the national drug network, whose face no one has ever seen. Ram must expose this person's identity to fulfill his duty as a secret agent.
Songwat calls Mekhala to thank her. Coincidentally, Aunt Lamun, an orphanage staff member who used to take care of Mekhala, is visiting Songwat at the same time. This reveals to Mekhala that Songwat is the anonymous benefactor who sponsored her and many other children, though she never revealed her identity to them. Mekhala willingly agrees to help when Songwat asks her to marry her son, Ram, to pull him out of the vicious cycle of the underworld and bring him back to manage the business as his late father wished. Songwat tries everything to get Ram to marry the woman she prepared for him. Songwat was heartbroken when Ruangrit told her that during his disappearance, Ram spent time in a youth detention center and later lived a delinquent life as a gangster running casinos and brothels, associating with illegal syndicates. Currently, Ram is hanging out with gangsters who control cafes and bars.
Ram is brought into the gang by Yen and meets Pho Liang Pongtham and his son, Thewan (Nam Rapeepat Ekapankul), who are traveling with their henchmen to attend the opening of a Parisian fashion boutique for Thida (Rathakorn Sathiraboot), his favorite daughter, in Bangkok. Ram is disappointed that he doesn't get to work closely with Pho Liang but is instead assigned as a bodyguard for Thida because he hasn't earned enough trust yet. Thida is annoyed and bored of Ram because of his lack of manners and his refusal to bow to her like her father's other subordinates. Ruangrit, Ram's uncle, tracks him down to a rented house in a red-light district alley and begs him to return to the Rattanamanee mansion. Out of love and respect for Ruangrit, Ram agrees to meet Songwat. However, because both are immensely proud and stubborn, mother and son end up arguing. Songwat orders Ram to marry Mekhala and return to work at the company. Ram refuses because he has already chosen his own path in life.
Mekhala is furious at Ram for his ingratitude. Even though Songwat is only his stepmother, she raised him since he was a baby. Having a mother is what Mekhala longs for, but Ram fails to see the precious thing he has. The more Mekhala thinks about it, the angrier she gets. She marches over to Ram while he is carrying bags for Thida, Pho Liang's daughter. Mekhala declares herself Ram's girlfriend and tries to drag him home. Thida refuses to let him go because he is her servant. Ram has to quickly drag Mekhala away to talk elsewhere. Mekhala threatens that if Ram doesn't marry her, she will hunt him down everywhere. Annoyed and thinking Mekhala just wants to be a rich man's daughter-in-law, Ram shoves her into a taxi. But Mekhala is incredibly persistent; she is pushed into the left door and climbs out the right door. Ram ends up taking the taxi himself and fleeing. Mekhala quickly jumps into the car of Thewan, Thida's brother, who happens to be driving nearby. Without caring about anything else, she orders him to follow the taxi. Thewan falls in love with Mekhala the moment he sees her, only to be heartbroken minutes later when he realizes she is chasing her boyfriend. Mekhala leaves abruptly, leaving behind only her mobile phone, which allows Thewan to meet her again on her wedding day.
Mekhala's crazy stalking eventually leads her to follow Ram while he is secretly meeting with Kongphop. She almost spots the two of them, forcing Ram to decide to marry Mekhala upon Kongphop's advice, so as not to ruin the big mission. Finally, Ram gives in to Songwat, agrees to marry, and moves back home. The wedding ceremony takes place at Songwat's house, which Ram requested to be a private family affair. However, Ram finds a way to escape immediately after the wedding is over. Mekhala refuses to give up easily and tracks him down to cause chaos at Pongtham's karaoke business in Bangkok, which Yen manages. Mekhala announces herself as Ram's wife, come to drag her husband home, and even befriends the mafia wives, urging them to drag their husbands home too. This gives Ram a massive headache because his mafia friends no longer want to hang out with him, fearing Mekhala's jealous rampages will get them into trouble as well. This makes it harder for Ram to gather intel from the henchmen. Ram is forced to return home to sleep per Mekhala's ultimatum and tries to find every opportunity to kick her out of his life. The war between husband and wife erupts daily, turning into an unintentional bond that draws Ram and Mekhala closer together.
The Commander urges Ram to find a way to get closer to Pho Liang Pongtham, who has returned to the tea plantation. While Ram is figuring out a plan, an incident occurs where he rescues Thida while the playboy actor she is obsessed with runs away to save himself. Thida is impressed by Ram and becomes jealous whenever she sees Mekhala bothering him. Ram gets a bright idea to pretend to be interested in Thida, hoping Mekhala will give up on her own. However, Mekhala refuses to lose and clings to Ram even more like a leech. Ram finds a way to get Thida to take him to Pho Liang's tea plantation, secretly ditching Mekhala. Meanwhile, Thewan argues with Pho Liang because he is being forced to take over the illegal business. The only person he thinks of to find comfort is Mekhala. Thewan comes down to Bangkok and finds Mekhala distressed over Ram's disappearance. Knowing Ram is at the plantation, Thewan takes Mekhala there to stay as his guest. Thida doesn't dare chase Mekhala away but tries to act sweet with Ram to show off, and Ram plays along, completely ignoring Mekhala. Mekhala is genuinely hurt because she has actually started to develop feelings for Ram. This gives Thewan the opportunity to comfort and care for her out of sympathy. It turns out Ram starts getting jealous seeing Mekhala acting sweet with another man.
Ram's chance to get close to Pho Liang arrives when rival drug dealers attempt to assassinate Pho Liang at the plantation. Pho Liang flees into the forest. Only Ram manages to follow and save him in time, taking a bullet for him. This earns Ram Pho Liang's ultimate favor, and he is allowed to be involved in all of Pho Liang's cross-border drug operations. The only exception is that he has still never seen the new partner who is building the drug factory.
While his secret mission stalls, his romantic mission remains chaotic. Thida wants to marry Ram, not caring that he already has a wife. Even Pho Liang supports this because he wants Ram to help manage the business alongside his seemingly useless eldest son. Ram himself begins to realize he has feelings for Mekhala, but with orders from above to quickly close the mission, he just goes with the flow. Mekhala refuses to leave Ram's life because if he becomes Pho Liang's son-in-law, he will sink deeper into crime. Therefore, Mekhala lies that she is pregnant with Ram's child. Thida is furious and plots to hire a hitman to stage an attack on Mekhala, instructing the hitman to lie that Ram hired him and then let Mekhala escape. Mekhala falls for the lie and decides to cut ties with Ram. Thewan secretly learns of his sister's plan but doesn't tell Mekhala, as he wants a pure-hearted woman like her to escape from a mafia thug like Ram. Thewan takes Mekhala back to Bangkok. Ram is heartbroken, feeling as if his heart flew away with Mekhala.
Songwat is pushed down the stairs by Ruangrit because she discovers his secret embezzlement of company funds. Songwat falls into a coma, and Mekhala takes care of her. When Songwat regains consciousness, she immediately exposes who pushed her and tried to kill her. Mekhala and Thewan team up to sneak Songwat out of the hospital. Ruangrit seizes the opportunity to frame Mekhala for the attempted murder and kidnapping of Songwat. Initially, Ram doesn't believe it, but when he finds out Mekhala lied about being pregnant, he becomes convinced that she intended to kill his mother to get a share of his company.
Mekhala hides Songwat at Aunt Lamun's orphanage. Meanwhile, Thewan discovers that Ruangrit is Pho Liang Pongtham's new drug business partner. He quickly warns Mekhala and proposes marriage so she can move into Pongtham's house to find evidence of Ruangrit's villainy to show Ram. Thida objects to her brother bringing Mekhala into the same house, fearing old flames will reignite. But Pho Liang reluctantly accepts Mekhala as a daughter-in-law because Thewan promises to return and take over the business as his father desires. Pho Liang then orders everyone back to the northern tea plantation to arrange a joint wedding ceremony for all four of them at once.
At the tea plantation, Pho Liang uses his children's wedding as a front to invite his drug partners, and importantly, Ruangrit, to inspect the drug factory and trade a massive shipment of drugs. Ram uncovers this clue and prepares to coordinate with Kongphop to bring the police up for a raid. However, events take an unexpected turn because Mekhala finds out about the drug deal on the wedding day and tips off Phakphum. Ram is chased and shot at by Phakphum. While trying to escape, Ram discovers a devastating truth: Pho Liang's new drug partner is Ruangrit, the uncle he loved and respected the most. Ram is shot off a cliff by Phakphum. Meanwhile, Ruangrit, Pongtham, and Thida manage to escape. Kongphop, fearing that Ram will be hunted down now that everyone knows he's a spy, fabricates a story that Ram died, bringing immense sorrow to both Mekhala and Songwat.
Pongtham and Ruangrit hide at a safehouse in a suburban orchard. When Pongtham learns that his son Thewan has surrendered to the police to take the fall for him, he plans to intercept and rescue Thewan on the way to court. However, Pongtham fails and is shot dead. Meanwhile, Ruangrit needs Songwat's money, so he uses Yen to lure Mekhala out and kidnaps her for ransom. Ram, who has been secretly watching over Mekhala, intervenes, revealing to her that he is still alive. Both are captured by Ruangrit and taken to the safehouse. Simultaneously, Ruangrit demands Songwat bring money in exchange for her son. Songwat brings the money to save her son and Mekhala. Ruangrit tries to kill Ram but fails. Ram and Mekhala manage to escape their confinement. Ram fights Ruangrit and is almost shot to death, but luckily, Phakphum and Thewan arrive with a police force just in time to help. Ruangrit is injured and arrested to face trial. Mekhala also successfully saves Thida from being raped and murdered by Saeng, making Thida deeply grateful and ending her hatred towards Mekhala.
Ram quits being a secret agent and returns to active duty as a regular police officer on Phakphum's team so he can have time to take care of Songwat and his beloved wife. However, his dear wife gets entirely swept up in being an "angel" at the Police Wives Club, enjoying activities so much that she forgets to come home. Ram starts to get annoyed but doesn't dare speak up because he's afraid of his wife. So, he fakes a plan during a raid, having his fellow officers report that he was shot dead and his body cannot be found. Feeling utterly hopeless in life, Mekhala becomes a volunteer teacher on a mountain. Thewan, who drops by to help teach, asks Mekhala to check on a sick hill tribe man. Mekhala is shocked to find that the hill tribe man is her own husband. She almost wants to kill Ram, but he sweetly pleads that if he didn't do this, they would never have time for a honeymoon together. Thewan, who had plotted this with Ram, stands by watching happily...
