Synopsis

At Prajim College, Krathin (or Intuka), played by Davika Hoorne, is a feisty and sassy girl who constantly protects her beautiful and good-natured friend, Kaewrung (Anyarin Terathananpat). Kaewrung is frequently bullied by the "Fruit Gang"—a trio of girls named Khanun (Natthawara Hongsuwan), Lamyai (Sawakon Tiyasawatkul), and Linchee (Nattaya Suwannarot)—who are jealous that Kaewrung was chosen as the star candidate for the faculty's cheerleading squad. The gang tricks Kaewrung, locks her in a building behind the college, and lies to the committee that she is sick and has forfeited.
Overhearing this, Krathin realizes it’s the trio's scheme. She fakes an electrical explosion by throwing firecrackers at them and rushes to save Kaewrung. When she opens the door to the women's restroom searching for her friend, she instead finds Tong, or Traithep Ochawanich (Chanapol Satya), an innocent but clumsy boy, showering naked. Tong had been bullied by seniors in the bodybuilding club who forced him to lift dumbbells until he fainted, then drew on his face like a panda. To make matters worse, his mischievous friend Ood (Surabordin Sombatcharoen) had secretly swapped the men's and women's restroom signs. Believing Tong is a pervert, Krathin grabs a mop and chases him all over the college.
Meanwhile, Kaewrung tries to escape the heavily locked building. She hears the echoing sound of a saxophone and follows the music until she meets Heman (Nat Thewphaingam), a handsome, Korean-style young man. The moment they make eye contact, it’s as if a magnetic force draws them together. Suddenly, a massive chandelier falls toward Kaewrung. Heman rushes in with superhuman speed, shielding her with his arm. Miraculously, the chandelier shatters into pieces on the floor without harming them. Shocked by the event, Kaewrung faints.
While fleeing from Krathin, Tong hides in the frog pond belonging to Dr. Chat, or Ajarn Pien (Surawut Maikun), an eccentric professor with bizarre behaviors. While hiding, a large cobra flares its hood next to Tong. He screams at the top of his lungs, startling Krathin, who trips and falls. The Naga-prok Buddha amulet necklace she always wears falls off. Suddenly, the sky trembles, a glowing rainbow appears above Krathin's head, and her latent telekinetic power unleashes, scaring the snake away the moment she shouts at it.
Tong faints from the shock. Krathin takes him to the infirmary, where they run into Kaewrung. Kaewrung tells everyone that Heman saved her from the falling chandelier, but no one believes her because the chandelier is still hanging perfectly intact. Heman claims she was just daydreaming, leaving Kaewrung confused as to why he would lie.
Heman is the adopted son of Dr. Amorn Hemmarat (Sarut Vichitrananda), a charismatic and famous businessman who founded Prajim College specifically for Heman to attend. While looking for Heman, Dr. Amorn runs into Krathin, who admires his brilliance and asks for his autograph. Elsewhere, Heman reunites with Tong, his childhood best friend from the orphanage.
However, their lives are polar opposites. Tong was adopted by Pae Leng (Den Dokpradoo) and Mae Samlee (Patama Panthong), who sell wonton noodles. Despite being poor, Tong is happy because his adoptive parents love and teach him well. In contrast, Dr. Amorn adopted Heman to use him as a "special-breed slave" to carry out secret missions, showing him no real affection and only calling him "son" in front of the press. Heman is strictly controlled by Kinnaree (Marisa Anita), Dr. Amorn's right-hand woman.
Ajarn Pien, disguised as a clown, explicitly warns Krathin to never take off her Naga-prok amulet. He is actually Krathin's biological father, but he must keep his identity a secret because he has a blood feud with his former best friend, Dr. Amorn.
Seven years ago, as Dr. Chat Charodom, he worked with Dr. Amorn to invent a new anti-cancer drug. They used Kinnaree as a test subject and successfully cured her. Chat wanted to hand the formula over to the government, but Amorn wanted to monopolize it for profit and tried to kill him. Fleeing for his life, Chat tricked Amorn into a radiation room and blasted him with maximum radiation, seemingly vaporizing his body. Chat then rushed to escape with his wife, Em-orn (Juthathip Kruthamat), and his daughter, Intuka. However, they were intercepted by Amorn, who had survived the radiation and mutated into an immortal monster with superpowers.
During the confrontation, Em-orn took a bullet for Chat. Suddenly, the amulet fell from Intuka's neck, the sky shook, and a rainbow appeared. Using her unleashed psychic powers, Intuka blasted Dr. Amorn away. Em-orn had kept Intuka's powers a secret from Chat all along, making her wear the amulet constantly to suppress her abilities.
Tragically, Em-orn died. Chat fled with Intuka but was chased by Kinnaree, who had become a vampire. During the chase, Intuka fell off a cliff. Chat was captured by Kinnaree and brought to Amorn, but he faked insanity to survive. Amorn sent him to a mental asylum. Seventeen years later, he escaped, underwent facial plastic surgery, and applied as a home economics teacher at Dr. Amorn's college.
Meanwhile, Tong falls in love with Kaewrung after she hands him a handkerchief to wipe off his blood after he is beaten up. Unbeknownst to them, Kaewrung is Heman's next target to bring back to Dr. Amorn so he can feed on her blood. Because of Heman's extreme good looks, girls are crazy about him. He lures young women to Dr. Amorn, who then stages their deaths as suicides or drug overdoses. Amorn then plays the generous benefactor, offering compensation and condolences to the victims' families, which deeply impresses Krathin, prompting her to interview him.
Dr. Amorn is startled when he sees the amulet on Krathin's neck. Krathin explains that Grandma Bua (Orasa Isarangkul) gave it to her to wear since childhood. Amorn doesn't realize that Krathin is actually Intuka; when she fell off the cliff years ago, she landed on a Krathin (lead tree) bush, was found by Grandma Bua, and raised with the necklace in hopes of one day finding her parents.
Tong and Heman meet again. Heman tells Tong to go study somewhere else, genuinely worried for his friend's safety. Later, Krathin is targeted by the vengeful Fruit Gang, who hire thugs to attack her. Tong tries to intervene but gets knocked out. Krathin's amulet breaks, and she uses her psychic powers to scatter the thugs. Seeing Tong's pure heart, Ajarn Pien decides to turn him into a new breed of superhuman to fight Dr. Amorn. He places the unconscious Tong into a capsule and irradiates him to grant him special abilities.
The next day, Tong wakes up with superhuman vision, precognition, and immense physical strength. Meanwhile, Heman and Kinnaree set up a scenario where Heman acts as the "knight in shining armor" to save Kaewrung from thugs, successfully luring her in. However, in a moment of vulnerability, Kaewrung accidentally calls out Tong's name. Realizing she is the girl his best friend loves, Heman decides not to hurt her and takes her back to her dorm. There, Kaewrung runs into Kinnaree and sees her vampire fangs. Shocked, she falls off a bridge into the water, which turns red with blood. Kinnaree assumes she is dead and frames it as a suicide. Krathin doesn't believe it's a suicide; deceived by Amorn and Kinnaree's lies, she suspects Tong is the murderer.
Ajarn Pien acts as Tong's alibi, stating they were together all night. Pien promises to find the real killer and begs Tong to help him fight the demons. In reality, Heman had saved Kaewrung and hidden her at a beach house; the blood in the water was his own from being attacked. Unable to tell her the truth about Dr. Amorn, Heman lies, claiming he only kidnapped her to spite Tong.
Tong, on the run from Krathin (who is hunting him), encounters Kinnaree attempting to kill Krathin. Using his powers, Tong saves Krathin from falling off a bridge, though Kinnaree escapes. Tong explains he could never kill the person he loves, leaving Krathin feeling slightly conflicted. Meanwhile, Heman begins to genuinely fall in love with Kaewrung. Kinnaree notices this and grows suspicious since he hasn't brought Amorn any prey. As tensions rise, Heman is forced to fight Tong. Simultaneously, Ajarn Pien and Ood team up to infiltrate Amorn's lair. Heman retreats to the beach house to heal, where Kaewrung takes care of him.
As Heman and Kaewrung's love deepens, Heman accidentally reveals his vampire form. Devastated, Kaewrung flees to Tong and Krathin. Kinnaree secretly tracks Kaewrung down to finish her off. Tong fights Kinnaree, and during the struggle, Krathin's amulet falls again. Krathin uses her powers to drive Kinnaree away, but Kinnaree manages to snatch Kaewrung. Furious at Heman's betrayal, Dr. Amorn orders Heman to bite Kaewrung. Heman refuses. Amorn issues an ultimatum: Heman must bring Krathin to exchange for Kaewrung.
Heman ambushes Krathin at Ajarn Pien's birthday party. Krathin, who now knows Pien is her father, agrees to take the risk and plots with Heman to swap herself for Kaewrung. Tong, deeply in love with Krathin, refuses to let her go. To ensure the plan works, Krathin frames Pien and Tong for Kaewrung's "murder," getting them safely locked up in a jail cell.
Tong is heartbroken that Krathin is going to marry Dr. Amorn and be turned into a vampire. Kinnaree is equally furious out of jealousy, as she loves Amorn. She tries to assassinate Krathin but is killed by Amorn instead. Heman and Kaewrung are thrown into Amorn's dungeon, where the Fruit Gang—who have been turned into Amorn's vampire minions—continuously inject Heman with poison to slowly rot his body.
On the day of Dr. Amorn and Krathin's wedding, Ood and his friends help Tong and Ajarn Pien break out of jail. They proceed to rescue Kaewrung and Heman from Amorn's dungeon. Together, the entire group crashes the wedding to expose Dr. Amorn as a monster to the world. Will Dr. Amorn be able to cover up the truth? Who will ultimately win this supernatural battle?
Follow the epic conclusion in the drama "Nuer Manoot" (Superhuman), airing soon on Channel 7!
