Song Pratthana

Prartthana Tharathong, also known as Nueng (Pimmada Boriruksuppakorn), marries Theeyot (Navat Kulrattanarak) in fulfillment of the dying wish of her father, Pongphon (Anuwat Niwatwong), the owner of Ban Had Thara Resort. Pongphon once did Theeyot a great favor, so Theeyot agrees to marry Nueng even though he does not love her.
But on the wedding day, Nitchada (Rujira Chuaykua), Theeyot’s former lover, suddenly reappears and asks him for work. Since her husband has died and she has no one left to rely on, Theeyot takes pity on her and allows her to stay at the resort as his assistant.
Ratri, Nueng’s trusted companion, does not trust Nitchada because she has noticed strange behavior from her before. She asks Nueng to investigate, and Nueng discovers a suitcase full of cash among Nitchada’s belongings. When she checks into Nitchada’s background, she learns that Nitchada is the wife of Phetthun (Prap Yutthapichai), a politician’s secretary who recently died in a car crash — along with 50 million baht.
Nueng intends to tell Theeyot the truth, but Nitchada catches on and plots to kill her to keep her silent. The attempt fails because Fueang (Ranya Siyanon), a longtime worker at the resort, happens to find her in time and saves her. Traumatized, Nueng becomes delirious and keeps rambling in fear, causing Fueang to misunderstand and believe that Theeyot is the one who tried to murder her. Fueang then puts Nueng’s clothes on Ratri, a servant who had gone out by boat to search for Nueng and is killed in an accident, making everyone — including Theeyot — believe that Nueng is dead.
Amid the chaos, Nueng runs away and eventually meets Sarit (Ratchanon Sukprakop), a young police officer. Seeing that Nueng is mentally unstable, Sarit asks his close friend Dr. Surachet (Panomkorn Tangthatisawat) and his younger sister Wannawalee (Aerin Yuktadatta), who works at a psychiatric treatment center, to help care for her.
Although Theeyot has doubts about Nueng’s death, Ban Had Thara Resort has meanwhile been badly damaged by a storm, forcing him to scramble for money to repair it. This includes closing a bank account under the name Prartthana Tharathong belonging to Pla (Paula Taylor), a young woman who happens to have the exact same first and last name as Nueng. When Pla finds out her account has been closed, she goes with her close friend Wannawalee to the resort to demand an explanation from Theeyot, and there she learns of Nueng’s suspicious death.
Pla begins investigating the truth and gradually grows closer to Theeyot. The two start to develop feelings for one another. Out of suspicion and jealousy, Nitchada starts creating incidents to frighten Pla, making it seem as though Theeyot is behind them. Fearing for Pla’s safety, Wannawalee urges her to return to Bangkok.
Meanwhile, Sarit, who has realized that he has fallen in love with Nueng, continues investigating her background while also helping her overcome her fear of the sea. One day, when Pla visits Wannawalee at the treatment center, she accidentally drops a photo of Theeyot. Nueng sees it and suddenly has a violent outburst. This makes Pla suspect that Nueng may know Theeyot. She follows up by asking Phum (Phuri Hiranyapruk), Theeyot’s trusted aide, and eventually learns the truth: Nueng is actually Theeyot’s wife.
Pla then becomes convinced that Theeyot must be the murderer who plotted to kill his own wife. She returns to the resort determined to gather evidence against him. As for Nueng, whose condition has greatly improved, she also decides to return to the resort — this time to expose the real killer.
But will this only give Nitchada the perfect chance to finish them both off?
