Hua Jai Ploy Jone

Hua Jai Ploy Jone is a romantic comedy about Woraphat (Patiphan Pathaweekarn), a smooth-talking salesman who is betrayed by his best friend Udom (Pongphan Phetbandoon), leaving him saddled with nearly ten million baht in company debt. With no way out, Woraphat is forced to run for his life.
During his escape, he meets Boonkoed (Tai Thanawut), a lucky taxi driver on his way to his hometown to claim an inheritance. But fate takes a sharp turn when a car accident leaves Boonkoed in a coma, while Woraphat is mistaken for him and taken to Ban Tan Diao, a remote rural village far from the outside world.
There, Woraphat unexpectedly finds himself inheriting his grandfather’s brass band troupe and taking responsibility for hundreds of rai of sugar-palm orchards. On top of that, he falls in love with Saenwan (Pimmada Boriruksuppakorn). His new life in Boonkoed’s identity seems, for a while, as though it might actually work out.
But things take another dramatic turn when OrBorTor Amnat (Dilok Thongwattana) begins moving in to pressure villagers into selling off the palm plantation land. Woraphat is forced to choose between selling the land to get the money he needs to repay the debt his friend caused, or protecting the orchard in accordance with his grandfather’s wishes.
In the end, the goodness and sincerity of the people of Ban Tan Diao win over Woraphat’s heart. He decides to stand up and fight to protect the land that sustains their lives, becoming a hero admired by everyone in the village.
But then the whole truth is exposed when the real Boonkoed wakes up and returns to reclaim everything. Woraphat must once again face the danger he had tried to escape.
So how will the love between a slick city salesman and a country girl from the palm groves finally end?
