Synopsis
365 Wan Haeng Rak is a romantic drama with a fantasy twist about jealousy, marriage, insecurity, and a woman who is forced to confront the future of her own love life.
No one could have guessed that this would be the message Lanlari (Anne Thongprasom), a beautiful young architect, would hand to Tula (Theeradej Wongpuapan), a serious young prosecutor, on the day she asked him to marry her. Lanlari is the kind of woman who proposes herself because she believes that if she waits for a shy man like Tula to speak first, she will be waiting until her hair turns gray. Tula accepts immediately. Even though on their wedding night Lanlari falls fast asleep from exhaustion and never truly becomes his wife in the physical sense, Tula must leave the very next morning to handle an important case instead of going on their honeymoon.
Lanlari later tries to surprise him by bringing her close friend Paratee (Sriphan Chuenchomboon) to wait for him at a restaurant near his office. But she is the one who gets the bigger shock when Tula walks in with Racha (Pakkaramai Potranan), a sharp, stylish former classmate who is now facing legal trouble. Blinded by jealousy, Lanlari rushes over and lashes out sarcastically, nearly starting a fight with Racha, and refuses to listen to Tula’s explanation.
Uneasy and suspicious that Tula will keep seeing Racha, Lanlari consults her mother Laksami (Duangta Toongkamanee), a woman with plenty of experience fighting with her own flirtatious husband Likhit, Lanlari’s father. But instead of calming her daughter, Laksami encourages Lanlari to watch Tula even more closely. She also takes the chance to criticize Ladawan (Panadda Wongphudee), Lanlari’s older sister, for continuing to stay with her unfaithful husband Chawin (Jakkrit Ammarat). Laksami wishes Ladawan would leave him, but she cannot because, however bad a husband Chawin may be, he is still a good father to their daughter Bali.
Spurred on by her mother, Lanlari becomes increasingly suspicious and controlling, creating great stress for Tula. Matters only get worse when she unexpectedly finds Racha at his office. Still resentful, Racha declares that she is Tula’s ex and has returned to take him back. Furious, Lanlari gets into a physical fight with her, embarrassing Tula terribly — though he cannot bring himself to stay angry with his wife for long.
Distressed, Lanlari goes to Paratee’s condo and there meets Pawich (Warit Fuengarom), Paratee’s older brother, who kindly comforts her until Paratee comes home. Paratee then takes Lanlari out for a walk, and the two decide to visit a fortune teller (Penpak Sirikul). The woman predicts bluntly:
“You will divorce because of the problem you have today.”
Enraged, Lanlari accuses her of talking nonsense. To prove her point, the fortune teller gives her a strange notebook and says it will allow Lanlari to see her life one year in the future. Lanlari does not believe her, but curious, she places the notebook under her pillow.
To her horror, she wakes up not in her marital home but at Laksami’s house, where she is greeted by Puggy, an ugly dog she cannot stand. Confused, she learns from her mother that she has had a huge fight with Tula and run away to sleep there. She is stunned to realize that she is now living one year ahead in the future.
From that point on, Lanlari begins experiencing two worlds at once — the present and the future — allowing her to see the real consequences of her choices.
In the present, she wakes up again beside Tula in their bridal home and tries to tell herself the future was only a nightmare. She insists that she would never run back to her mother’s house, never hurt Tula, and never divorce him. Tula takes her out to eat at the same restaurant, which is not romantic at all, but she is happy when he apologizes for lying to her about Racha and tells her he has prepared a gift at home for her.
Yet when she returns, the “gift” turns out to be Thum (Suprawat Pattamasut), Tula’s sharp-tongued but good-hearted father, who is coming to stay with them — along with the terrifying Puggy. Lanlari panics the moment she sees the dog and realizes the future she witnessed was no dream at all.
In the future, Lanlari meets Paratee, who has undergone a dramatic makeover and now seems to be hiding something — perhaps becoming the kept woman of her boss. Lanlari asks for help investigating Tula. She finds old written messages between Tula and Racha from when they were once a couple. Furious, she cannot bear that Tula seems cold toward her while writing such sweet things to Racha. What she does not know is that the messages were actually written by Ting (Yanee Jongwisut), Tula’s older sister.
Lanlari goes to confront Racha, still furious about the past, but arrives just in time to see Phubodin (Worawut Niyomsap), Racha’s ex-husband, violently hitting her. Though Lanlari hates Racha, she cannot stand by and watch. Before she can step in, Racha escapes by car. Then Lanlari receives an anonymous message saying Tula is meeting Racha. The mysterious sender signs off as “a well-wisher.”
Who is this “well-wisher”?
And why, in just one year, has her life become so tangled?
Lanlari rushes to the restaurant and finds that Tula really is meeting Racha. She causes a scene, shouting that Racha is trying to steal her husband — only to be stunned when she sees the bruises on Racha’s body and learns that Racha has come to seek legal advice about divorcing her abusive husband. Tula, angry, tries to explain that he said nothing only because Racha’s troubles are private. Determined to change the future she has seen, Lanlari becomes even more vigilant about watching Tula.
Meanwhile, while Lanlari is focused on Racha, Tula is assigned a major case by his superior Nop. The case involves Phumibodin Muangthep, accused of kidnapping and murdering businessman Suthee Ungchaikulpanich and his family. Tula is given a highly capable female assistant, Nichanicha (Mira Komolwanich). At first sight, Nichanicha falls hard for him. Tula, who is devoted to Lanlari, knows that if his jealous wife finds out his new assistant is a woman, chaos will follow. So he and Nawat (Louis Scott) conspire to keep it secret.
Lanlari, however, nearly learns the truth after gossiping with the office chatterboxes Juree and Im. Nichanicha is hurt when she learns Tula is already married. At the same time, Ladawan and Chawin end up fighting because of one of Lanlari’s schemes. Feeling guilty, Lanlari goes to comfort her sister and there meets Kan, a handsome young man who has just moved into the house. Kan is interested in Ladawan. Laksami urges Ladawan to pretend to date Kan to make Chawin jealous and bring him back. In the future, Lanlari learns that this plan works, and Ladawan and Chawin do reconcile.
Then in the future world, Lanlari receives another anonymous message warning that “the cat is going to watch over the grilled fish.” She goes to Tula’s office and runs into Racha again, leading to yet another argument. Tula is furious that she has made another scene at work.
At the same time, Nawat, who secretly loves Nichanicha, confronts her about the anonymous messages she has been sending to Lanlari. Nichanicha admits the truth: she loves Tula and wants him to leave Lanlari, believing that his irrational, jealous wife is making him miserable.
So will the chaotic love between Lanlari and Tula ever be restored?
And what will happen to all the tangled lives around them?
