Synopsis

This drama tells the story of Kwanuma Chaicharoensuk, a beautiful high-society model and one of the most famous women in Thailand. She is also the heiress to Sunshine Airline, one of the country’s leading domestic airlines. Kwan lives only with her mother, Pornpan, in order to care for her, as her mother has fallen seriously ill from grief after the death of her husband, Ek. Since then, only her younger sister Chantra has been looking after her. Kwanuma is officially appointed chairman of the airline, but only in name, because in reality the business is run by Amorn, her late father’s younger brother, with the help of his children Vorawit and Yolda.
The story begins when Kwanuma goes to Phuket for a fashion shoot for a famous magazine. There, Khanit and Phirom, two wealthy but rather foolish high-society young men who are both infatuated with her, buy her a dog named Chindee along with a diamond collar in hopes of winning her heart. But Kwan accidentally loses the dog on set, causing chaos during the shoot.
While searching for Chindee, Kwanuma finds the dog on a yacht preparing to sail. On board is Thanop, an interior designer who has borrowed a client’s yacht for a relaxing outing. But what should have been a peaceful trip turns into a disaster when Kwanuma mistakes Thanop for a kidnapper and hits him over the head, knocking him into the water. Thanop gets his revenge by tying her to the mast and leaving her in the sun. From then on, Kwanuma sees Thanop as her sworn enemy. Besides being an interior designer, Thanop is also a rough-and-ready chef at the restaurant Ocharot, where he lives with his mother Pannee, his younger brother Weerathep, his younger sister Sopha, and their troublesome employee Toiting.
Weerathep has a girlfriend named Yolda, and he uses her to climb the ranks and become an executive in the airline. Thanop has a girlfriend named Pimmani, who is friends with Sopha. Pimmani’s mother is addicted to gambling, forcing Pimmani to work hard to support her out of filial duty. Pimmani’s life is completely different from Kwanuma’s. One day, Kwan grows tired of her meaningless lifestyle and decides she wants to start a business of her own. She finally settles on opening a coffee shop and is determined to make it famous.
Khanit tells Kwan that she should hire an interior designer to decorate the café, which brings Thanop and Kwanuma together again. More chaos follows. Over the course of two months, both begin to feel unsure about their emotions, but they keep denying their attraction and continue acting as though they cannot stand each other. Meanwhile, Pimmani is in trouble because her mother, Truengjai, has fallen into debt of 500,000 baht. Debt collectors come after her, and Pimmani can do nothing but cry. Kwanuma kindly lends her money to pay off the debt for the time being, and Pimmani’s feelings toward Kwan begin to change.
Eventually, the coffee shop is completed. Then Pimmani faces another hardship when she must find a large sum of money again to repay her mother’s debts or risk losing their house. So she decides to pose nude for money. When the photos come out, Thanop is furious and decides that Pimmani is no longer suitable for him.
At the same time, someone is plotting to seize Kwanuma’s inheritance. Vorawit is planning to expand the airline and presents the proposal to Pornpan, but she refuses because the expansion could repeat the same near-bankruptcy that once happened under Kwanuma’s father. Vorawit becomes enraged and devises a plan: he has Amorn seduce and marry Chantra in haste, then force her to sign over her shares to him. Vorawit thus becomes the owner of the company almost immediately.
Chantra is heartbroken when she realizes she has been used. Pornpan is so shocked that she later dies. When Kwanuma comes to visit her mother at the hospital, she faints upon seeing her condition. When she regains consciousness, she has lost all memory of what has happened. Thanop then publicly declares to reporters and to Chantra that Kwanuma is his lover, without expecting anything in return from her. Chantra feels relieved that Kwanuma has someone good by her side.
During her hospital stay, Thanop takes very good care of her. Kwanuma gets permission from the doctor and Thanop to attend her mother’s funeral. She sheds no tears, because she truly remembers nothing. Only a lingering emotional bond makes her feel an ache in her heart as she looks at her mother’s photograph. At the funeral, Kwanuma runs away from the hospital to stay with Pimmani, hoping it might help her regain her memory. Thanop goes searching for her until he finds her.
Meanwhile, Weerathep admits that he has been a bad man who deceived Yolda all along. He resigns because he finally understands his own heart and wants Yolda to forgive him. Pimmani then comes up with a plan. She seduces Vorawit and gets him drunk until he loses control, tricking him into signing documents that transfer the shares back to Kwanuma. In doing so, Pimmani repays the kindness Thanop and Kwanuma have shown her.
The next day, Kwanuma proudly returns to work as the true president of Sunshine Airline and immediately fires Vorawit. He goes mad with rage and threatens to deal with both her and Pimmani at the first opportunity. He later attempts to kill Chantra, but Thanop sees him in time and rushes to help, only to be stabbed by Vorawit. Vorawit escapes, and Thanop is taken to the hospital.
Chantra then tells everyone the whole truth. But Vorawit still continues with his evil plans without any fear of sin or consequences. He kidnaps Kwanuma and Pimmani in revenge and locks them away, intending to leave them there to starve. Weerathep asks Yolda where Vorawit’s houses are, and he and Thanop eventually find them. The police arrest Vorawit, while the two women are rushed to the hospital.
After all the terrible events have passed, Chantra’s condition improves. Amorn resigns from the airline and apologizes to Kwanuma and Chantra for his son’s actions. Truengjai turns over a new leaf and becomes a nun. Weerathep confesses his love to Pimmani and promises to be both a good boyfriend to her and a good younger brother to Thanop.
Kwanuma decides to hire professional executives to run the airline while she remains the major shareholder, with Aunt Chantra helping oversee the administration, since corporate management is not truly her strength. She returns to what she really loves—the coffee shop she built with her own hands. She is happy living her life in that small but warm café, while occasionally taking on modeling work.
The old image of Kwanuma as a spoiled, temperamental diva is gone. Now she is a lovely, gentle, warm-hearted woman loved by everyone. She is also preparing to become the bride of Thanop, the man she is now certain she loves deeply enough to spend the rest of her life with.
