Ruen Sorn Rak

This is the life story of four sisters of the Rajasakmontritham family during 1942: Dararung, Dararat, Daranoi, and Daranit.
At the head of the family is their father, M.R. Ekachaya. Because he believes he is the most important person in the household and can do whatever he wants without considering anyone else, his wife Sodsri and their four daughters suffer deeply because of him. In particular, the eldest daughter, Dararung, is emotionally wounded by the man who is supposed to be her father, to the point that she comes to believe there is not a single good man in the world.
Then Dararung meets Krai, a young man who seems to possess every good quality. He makes her think that perhaps there are still decent men left after all. But later, Krai has an affair with Oranong, and Dararung catches them. She immediately cuts ties with him and becomes convinced once again that all men are bad.
From then on, Dararung constantly warns her younger sisters not to get involved with men. But eventually, the very thing she most wants to prevent happens, and a series of events follows.
