Synopsis

Tawan (Khemanit Jamikorn) lives on a cargo boat with Sai (Ratchaneekorn Phanmanee) and Krao (Tanongsak Supakan), her abusive, drunken stepfather. They make a living by transporting goods along the river across various provinces. Tawan has a loyal sidekick named Iang (Chawanop Pothiprasert), who lives on another boat with his own cruel mother and stepfather.
When Tawan has to deliver rice bran to a houseboat at Khlong Bang Luang, Sai becomes noticeably anxious. She claims she doesn't want to go there because Inta (Thongkao Pattarachokchai), Tawan's biological father, once caused trouble in that area. In truth, Sai is haunted by her past; Inta was sent to prison for murder, which led Sai to make the terrible mistake of ending up with Krao.
While waiting to unload the cargo, Tawan and Iang park their boat near a large houseboat and a grand estate known as Dechabodin Mansion. It happens to be a strict no-parking zone, which leads to a heated altercation between Tawan and Naren (Bowornpot Jaikanta), the son of Than Ton (Dilok Thongwattana), the mansion's owner. Primphao (Apiradee Phawaphutanon), Naren's aunt, tries to press charges against Tawan. However, Sakrapee, also known as Khun Lek (Weerapap Supapthaibool), intervenes because he saw that Naren was the one who attacked Tawan first.
Sai rushes in, apologizes to Khun Lek and Primphao, and quickly pulls Tawan away. When Primphao sees Sai's face, she is utterly shocked and terrified that her dark secret will be exposed. Twelve years ago, Primphao was fiercely jealous of Duangporn (also played by Khemanit Jamikorn) because Than Ton had chosen Duangporn as his minor wife instead of her. When Duangporn gave birth to a daughter, she passed away shortly after. Before her dying breath, Duangporn told Khun Yai (Kotchakorn Nimakorn), Than Ton's main wife, that her child had a red, heart-shaped birthmark above her left chest.
At the time, Primphao was desperate for a male heir to secure the family line. She secretly swapped Duangporn's newborn daughter with the newborn son of Sai and Inta. Primphao then had Chon (Ekapun Bunluerit) pay off Lamom (Daraneenuch Pothipiti), the traditional midwife, to keep her mouth shut. As a result, everyone believed Naren was the legitimate heir of Dechabodin Mansion, leading Khun Yai to draft a will leaving the inheritance to Duangporn's supposed "son."
One day, while Tawan and Iang are guarding the boat as Sai visits the doctor, Than Ton is out driving a speedboat nearby. Naren's reckless driving causes the boat to capsize, and Than Ton falls into the water. Tawan and Iang dive in and save his life. Out of deep gratitude, Than Ton returns to the mansion and orders all "No Boat Parking" signs to be torn down.
Meanwhile, Krao violently tries to extort money from Tawan. Sai steps in to protect her and ends up stabbing Krao to death. Knowing she will be arrested, Sai gives Tawan a letter and some money, instructing Tawan and Iang to find Primphao at the houseboat in Khlong Bang Luang. Sai then turns herself in to the police.
Around this time, the guilt-ridden Chon confesses the truth to Than Ton, right in front of Khun Yai and Khun Lek: Tawan is actually Duangporn's biological daughter. Heartbroken and distressed because he cannot find Tawan, Than Ton falls deathly ill. Before passing away, he writes a new will and begs Khun Yai to bring Tawan home. Tawan, deeply saddened, sneaks into Than Ton's funeral to pay her respects, but she flees when she sees Khun Yai, fearing she will be punished for her past fight with Naren.
To avoid recognition, Tawan disguises herself as a boy. Iang changes his name to Noppadol and shaves his head to disguise himself as well. Tawan lies to Khun Lek, introducing herself as a boy named "Yorsaeng," claiming to be Noppadol's brother and stating they ran away from an abusive stepfather. Taking pity on them, Khun Lek adopts the two, sponsors their education, and covers for them by telling Prommit (Pandita Phuvijarn Howell)—Than Ton's daughter from another minor wife—that they are relatives from the provinces. Yorsaeng and Noppadol soon befriend Thada (Tharaket Phetsuksai), a senior student who frequently helps them out, earning their deep gratitude.
Eventually, Khun Lek goes abroad to further his studies, leaving Yorsaeng and Noppadol under Khun Yai's care. Six years pass. The kids at the houseboat grow into young adults. Prommit is now working at a large corporation, while Jitsai (Woraporn Lertkiatpaibul), the younger sister of Prommit and Naren, is still repeating her high school classes.
Noppadol successfully enters the police academy, while Yorsaeng studies in the Faculty of Arts with dreams of becoming a teacher. Inta is finally released from prison. Yorsaeng and her friend Jaiboon (Anyarin Teerathananpat) cross paths with Thada and Noppadol. Noppadol falls for Jaiboon at first sight. Thada shows romantic interest in Yorsaeng, but she remains completely uninterested.
When Khun Lek returns from abroad, he is stunned to see Yorsaeng (who has reverted to her female identity) and is mesmerized by her beauty. However, he acts cold and distant, which hurts Yorsaeng's feelings. Meanwhile, Naren discovers that Khun Yai intends to hand the family fortune over to Yorsaeng. He attempts to eliminate Yorsaeng but fails. Khun Yai then reveals the bitter truth to Naren: he is not Than Ton's biological son. Naren forces the full truth out of Primphao. Terrified of losing everything, a desperate Naren murders Chon and Lamom to silence them.
To settle matters, Khun Yai decides to open the will ahead of schedule. Inta makes an appearance, and all the secrets are finally laid bare: Yorsaeng, or Tawan, is the true biological daughter of Than Ton and Duangporn, and the rightful heir. Driven to madness, Naren grabs a gun and starts shooting at everyone. Khun Lek and Inta team up to subdue Naren and hand him over to the police.
In the end, Yorsaeng/Tawan rightfully reclaims Dechabodin Mansion. Khun Lek finally opens up and confesses his true feelings to Tawan, bringing warmth and love back into her life once again.
