Synopsis
“Love Beyond the Horizon 2” tells the emotional story of the famous sibling duo Golf-Mike, who rise to massive popularity with continuous music releases. Their latest album, Get Ready, features a song written by Golf himself titled “My Superstar.” At the album launch, Golf reveals that the “superstar” in the song refers to his beloved fans—something that deeply hurts his real-life girlfriend, Pat. Throughout their relationship, Pat has had to stay hidden because the record label forbids Golf from publicly having a girlfriend.
The next evening, Golf tries to reconcile with Pat outside their condo, but the moment is secretly filmed and becomes a major scandal. He is ordered by his management to deny everything and move out. Furious, Pat distances herself. Golf lies, claiming he wrote a song for her, but when Pat discovers the truth, she gives him an ultimatum: meet her that evening with a song written just for her. Golf fails to finish it in time. When he rushes to meet her, they miss each other—and that same evening, Pat is hit by a car. The accident causes brain trauma, leaving her with amnesia. She forgets everyone, including Golf.
Unable to contact her, Golf assumes Pat has broken up with him. Meanwhile, Pat’s doctor believes she may regain her memory and tries to get Golf’s contact through his mother, but is refused. Eventually, the truth about Pat’s condition comes out when both sides meet at the hospital. As Pat recovers, her friends help stimulate her memory. She slowly remembers everyone—except Golf.
Determined, Golf writes a song for her, hoping it will bring back her memories. Pat listens to it every day, wishing to remember their love, but instead recalls only sadness. She chooses to move on and live a new life without Golf, leaving him heartbroken. His brother Mike Pirath Nitipaisalkul encourages him, believing Pat will remember someday.
At the same time, Mike collapses. After suffering frequent headaches and blurred vision, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Just as the duo is about to achieve their dream of going international in Korea, Mike hides his illness to avoid ruining their plans. However, after a major concert, his condition worsens, and the truth is revealed. Golf cancels their international project, and Pat moves into Mike’s house to help care for him.
Living together triggers Pat’s memories. She gradually recalls her past with Golf—their rivalry that turned into love. Golf is overjoyed, but when her memory reaches the day of the accident, the truth emerges: Pat had intended to break up with him and start a new relationship with a younger man named March.
Meanwhile, Mike breaks up with his girlfriend Ple, letting her believe he has someone else, while in reality he is preparing for the possibility of death. Heartbroken, Ple turns to writing—a childhood dream she had abandoned. As Mike undergoes treatment, doctors warn his condition is critical. The media eventually discovers his illness, forcing a press conference alongside the release of what may be Golf-Mike’s final album. Fans across the country rally to support him.
When Ple learns the truth, she returns to Mike’s side. Wanting to make the most of their remaining time, they create memories together. Ple rushes to finish her novel before Mike’s surgery. Before the operation, Mike goes on a carefree trip with friends. But his condition suddenly worsens, and he is rushed into emergency surgery. Afterward, he falls into a coma.
By his bedside, Ple reads her novel aloud, hoping he can hear her and wake up to finish their story together. People nationwide send encouragement, folding paper cranes—a Japanese belief that 1,000 cranes can grant healing, inspired by Mike’s connection to Japan.
Meanwhile, Pat is torn between her lingering love for Golf and her current relationship with March, forming a love triangle. Adding to the complexity, a young girl named Oop-ib develops feelings for March while staying with Ple and helping him study for university.
In the end, the story asks:
Will Mike wake up?
Who will Pat choose between Golf and March?
Will someone sacrifice their love?
And will Golf-Mike’s dream of going international ever come true?
