Mukhom, a talented som tam (papaya salad) vendor from Mukdahan, became who she is thanks to Yai Kae, a som tam seller who took her in and raised her. On her very first day in Bangkok, Mukhom meets Songkran, a creative professional, at the 5th anniversary party of the advertising company “Kissy Kissy,” run by the elegant Nanny.
Due to a misunderstanding caused by a jealous office worker named Weena, Mukhom unexpectedly ends up walking as a model at the event. Amid the lively celebration, hidden tensions brew as Songkran and Thuangthep compete for position within the company. Meanwhile, Mukhom finds herself clashing with neighboring som tam vendors, Khampliew and Maduea.
But no battle is fiercer than the battle of the heart. Tuangjai wants to marry her boyfriend Songkran, yet he refuses, not wanting to be seen as relying on the wealth of his girlfriend, who is the daughter of building owners Korn and Yadphirun, the proprietors of a fresh market.
When Songkran discovers that Mukhom is just a som tam vendor in front of the building, he shows clear disdain toward her.
