Xian, a handsome, Korean-style young salesman, lives with Payu, the only relative he has left. The two stay in a small apartment building managed by Kimbuay, a sweet-looking but extremely stingy woman—so stingy that even salt would call her “mother.”
Kimbuay lives with her grandmother, Ama Suling, the original founder of the mansion back when it was just a simple rental house. Unlike her granddaughter, Ama is kind-hearted and incredibly generous.
Xian and Kimbuay are sworn enemies. Because Xian is always short on money and constantly late with rent, Kimbuay is forever trying to kick him out. Yet somehow, he manages to scrape by each month—until his luck finally runs out.
Unable to pay on time, Xian faces eviction just as a new tenant appears: Somrak, a handsome and kind-hearted young man from Sakon Nakhon. Coming from a wealthy family, Somrak is now pursuing a master’s degree in International Business in Bangkok. He wants to stay at the mansion because it’s close to the home of Khun Noo Ton-or, a high-society girl and his classmate whom he secretly likes.
To secure the room, Somrak pays a full year’s rent in advance. Without hesitation, Kimbuay throws Xian and Payu’s belongings out. Furious and desperate, the two discover Somrak’s true reason for moving in. They blackmail him—claiming they know Ton-or and will expose him as a creepy stalker unless he lets them stay.
Panicking, Somrak explains that he only wants to live nearby and admire his dream girl from afar. Still, Xian refuses to back down and demands that he and Payu remain in the room. With no choice, Somrak reluctantly agrees.
Living together becomes chaotic. Somrak and Payu struggle to coexist with Xian, all while dealing with Kimbuay’s extreme stinginess and the bizarre antics of their neighbors—especially P’Patrick (or P’Tik), an over-the-top background actor, and P’Por, a motorcycle taxi leader hopelessly in love with Kimbuay. Both men constantly compete for her attention, adding to the madness.
Meanwhile, Kimbuay is secretly annoyed that someone as unreliable as Xian keeps attracting women—particularly Mali, the daughter of Uncle Biaw, a street food vendor who strongly disapproves of Xian for always tricking his daughter into buying useless things.
Amid misunderstandings, rivalry, and nonstop chaos, life in this tiny mansion becomes a whirlwind of comedy, conflict, and unexpected connections.
