Synopsis

The joyful life of a young girl named Foon (Tangmo–Patarathida), who lost her father at a young age. She is determined and dreams of opening a bookstore so that everyone in Thailand can have access to reading. Foon is the only daughter of Mae Fai (Kung–Wipavee), a famous spirit medium. Foon dislikes her mother’s profession, which often leads to arguments between them.
Foon works hard in both her studies and her job to save money to open her bookstore. She has Nat (Big–Sarut), a man who understands her well, by her side. Foon invests all her savings to take over a shop from Hia Meng, not knowing that the shop is heavily in debt. Eventually, she opens her bookstore, “Book Garden,” with Joo (Akarapong) helping her as an assistant.
Foon’s main rival is Oak (U–Phanu), who constantly looks down on her, believing she cannot develop the bookstore successfully. After just one week of opening, the shop’s debts become a serious burden. In the first three days, she only gets one customer. She borrows money from Kaeng (A–Panyapol), a loan shark with high interest, but her situation does not improve.
In the end, Foon decides to abandon her old ideas. She transforms her failing bookstore into a community library instead. Thus begins the chaotic and lively story of the “fun library.”
Things get even more complicated when Kaeng, the loan shark, falls in love with Foon. Niran (Krerk Chiller), a café owner, proposes opening a coffee corner. Then Khun Tuk (Top–Daraneenuch) comes in offering various goods for sale. Uncle Krerk (Toom–Chalit) sets up a fortune-telling table, while Nat and Noon (Ple–Paradee), a pair of siblings, suggest adding an internet corner.
These changes also bring Foon a powerful enemy—Jae Hong (Jik–Naowarat). Meanwhile, the one who truly makes Foon’s heart flutter is Mark (Marcus), a handsome TV host and her old school friend.
With both library troubles and matters of the heart, Foon must find a way forward. Will she be able to inspire people in the community to turn to reading? Find out in the sitcom “Fun Library.”
