Synopsis

Ban Rao Chong Charoen: As the New Year approaches, Bangkok is alive with celebration. In the vibrant nightlife district of RCA, Jomjam is working hard as a "pretty," dressed in a sexy Santa outfit to hand out product samples. Jam dreams of becoming an actress, but after her agent, Jae Miew, fails to find her acting work, she is stuck doing promotional gigs.
Exhausted, hungry, and furious when Jae Miew deducts her pay for not finishing the samples, Jam throws her heavy bag at her boss. The bag accidentally hits Jae Miew’s plastic surgery-enhanced nose, causing a bloody mess. Fearing the consequences, Jam flees and hides in the back of a pickup truck, where she falls fast asleep.
The truck belongs to Wit, a smooth-talking but debt-ridden land agent. Wit is fleeing from creditors who tried to kidnap him at a party, and he speeds toward his rural hometown without realizing he has a stowaway. Fatigued, Wit dozes off, and the truck skids into a roadside ditch. Jam wakes up screaming, and both are shocked to find themselves together in the middle of desolate farmland. They are rescued by local villagers Hea Ong and Jae Ueng, who take them into the village.
Wit’s father, OBT Sanong (a local official), is surprised by his son's unannounced return with a strange woman. To hide his debt troubles, Wit lies and claims Jam is his girlfriend. The gossipy shopkeepers, Hea Ong and Jae Ueng, spread the news instantly. During a New Year merit-making ceremony at the temple, the villagers gather to catch a glimpse of the "city girl" Jam. Among them is Saichon, a young man who returned from Bangkok to practice sustainable farming in his hometown.
Jam and Saichon strike up a quick friendship, sparking Wit's jealousy. Meanwhile, Nam-oi, the feisty daughter of the shopkeepers who has a crush on Saichon, immediately marks Jam as her rival. Wit, under pressure from death threats by his creditors, sees an opportunity to make money by selling off the village's parched land to a factory looking for a toxic waste warehouse.
However, Saichon is successfully implementing the "New Theory" of integrated farming based on the King’s Royal Initiatives. He convinces OBT Sanong to use his vast land as a model for the village. This directly opposes Wit's plan to sell the land. Wit pretends to volunteer for the project to sabotage Saichon’s efforts, while Jam—unaware of the scheme—helps out.
Nam-oi notices Wit’s suspicious behavior, but Saichon initially trusts his friend. Eventually, Wit’s sabotage succeeds, and Saichon fails to meet the project deadlines set by OBT Sanong. Devastated, Saichon admits defeat, and Wit prepares to return to Bangkok to collect his commission.
Once back in the city, Jam discovers Wit’s betrayal. She is heartbroken that he would destroy his own home for money, and they have a violent argument. By the time Wit feels remorse, the deal is done. OBT Sanong and the villagers receive the news that their land will become a toxic dump. Saichon apologizes to Nam-oi for not believing her sooner.
Will Wit find a way to redeem himself and save his hometown from the looming disaster? And how will the complicated relationship between Wit and Jam finally conclude?
