My Beloved Mafia tells the story of Pakboong, a beautiful young woman fleeing from mafia pursuers. She refuses to become the possession of Chen Ling, a Hong Kong mafia boss, to whom her father Pipat had offered her to repay a debt.
Pakboong is rescued by Mint, a wealthy heir disguised as a waiter, who claims he ran away from his stepmother. The two quickly grow close and fall in love. By chance, Pakboong meets her close friend Chompoo and Pasakorn, Chompoo’s older brother, who is also Mint’s close friend. Pasakorn knows Mint’s true identity, while Pakboong confides in Chompoo about her escape, stressing that it must remain a secret for her safety.
Not long after, Pakboong is captured by Chen Ling’s men before Mint can propose or reveal his true identity. Determined to rescue her, Mint travels to Hong Kong with Pasakorn and stays with Ho Shi, a Hong Kong police officer and their friend.
Meanwhile, Pakboong is forced to face Chen Ling, whom she hates deeply. Chen Ling grows frustrated every time she rejects him. He assigns his subordinate Jian Hao to take care of her and tries every way to win her love. Even when Ho Shi offers money on Mint’s behalf to buy her freedom, Chen Ling refuses.
Over time, Pakboong begins to feel a strange warmth toward Chen Ling despite his cold, mafia demeanor. This causes jealousy in Chen Deyong, Chen Ling’s adoptive younger sister, who secretly loves him and constantly bullies Pakboong. Feeling hurt, Deyong goes out one night and is harassed, but Mint rescues her by chance. She falls in love with Mint.
Pakboong continues trying to escape but eventually befriends Deyong. Though she denies it, she realizes she has fallen for Chen Ling and decides not to return to Mint. Complications arise when Lily, Chen Ling’s fiancée, returns. She pretends to be kind to Pakboong but manipulates situations to make Chen Ling believe Pakboong is involved with Jian Hao, leading him to drive them out.
Deyong suspects Lily and helps expose the truth, but Lily continues her schemes, creating further misunderstandings. Eventually, Pakboong escapes back to Thailand. Chen Ling follows her but is injured in an accident. Once recovered, he continues searching for her.
In Thailand, Pakboong leaves her father’s house, rents a small place, and works at a café owned by Mint’s company. When she learns Mint’s true identity, she is angry and quits, but later returns and agrees to remain just friends.
Meanwhile, Lily, upset that Chen Ling ignores her, manipulates Ho Shi into investigating Chen Ling’s illegal activities while conspiring with her father Li Jie and Tian Mingxian to destroy him. Amid this chaos, Chen Ling is shaken by news that Pakboong is marrying Mint.
Despite still loving Chen Ling, Pakboong agrees to marry Mint to avoid hurting him again, encouraged by her family. Chen Ling rushes to Thailand to stop the wedding, with Lily following him.
At Mint’s corporate debut event, both couples meet. Lily sends a hitman to kill Pakboong, but the attempt fails, and Chen Ling rescues her. He begs her to return to him, but she believes it’s too late. Mint misunderstands the situation until Chen Ling admits his fault in loving Pakboong too much.
On the wedding day, violence erupts again. Pakboong shields Chen Ling from a gunshot and is injured, confessing her love before losing consciousness. Mint accepts the truth and steps back, choosing to remain her friend.
Pakboong eventually returns to Hong Kong with Chen Ling. However, Lily refuses to give up. She lures Chen Ling into a trap to kill him but fails. Although he survives, he loses his memory. Lily seizes the opportunity to manipulate him, planting false memories and turning him against Pakboong.
Heartbroken, Pakboong watches as Chen Ling believes Lily and chooses to stay with her.
