Synopsis
Leh Kularb (Deceitful Rose) tells the story of Sakarat Arunthip, the daughter of Tatti Arunthip, a kind-hearted businessman. She is studying for a master’s degree in international business, intending to return and help manage her father’s company, as well as marry her fiancé, Ekarang Kuptikarakul, the youngest son of Major General Thappa Kuptikarakul and Khunying Khomkhae.
Unbeknownst to Sakarat, her family has undergone a devastating change. When she graduates and returns to Thailand, she discovers that her father has become mentally unstable. Her half-sister Asamon, a famous sexy model and actress, blames Khunying Khomkhae—her father’s business partner—for embezzling company funds.
Seeking revenge, Asamon sets her sights on Usman, Khunying’s third son, a flirtatious playboy who is already engaged to Rathaya, a wealthy business heiress. Asamon sabotages their wedding by pretending to poison herself and falsely claiming she is pregnant with Usman’s child, successfully forcing her way into the family.
At the same time, Khunying forces Ekarang to break off his engagement with Sakarat. He is then matched with Ruangrung, the daughter of a wealthy former minister, despite still loving Sakarat. Sakarat tries to stop Asamon from pursuing her destructive revenge, but Asamon continues to create chaos within the Kuptikarakul household.
To gather evidence against Khunying, Asamon bribes Wasuma, the gambling-addicted wife of Khunying’s second son, to spy on her. Wasuma eventually obtains crucial evidence of Khunying’s wrongdoing. Later, Sakarat decides to escape the turmoil and takes a job as a personal secretary to Sarut, a widowed businessman, traveling with him to the eastern provinces.
Meanwhile, Asamon uses the evidence to blackmail Major General Thappa, threatening to expose Khunying unless he transfers ownership of his dream retirement home to her. Eventually, Asamon decides to separate from Usman before giving birth, agreeing to give him the child after delivery. Shocked, Usman demands an explanation. She reveals the truth about her past and her father’s suffering. At first, he refuses to believe her, but after seeing the evidence, he is devastated by his mother’s actions.
Ekarang, frustrated with Ruangrung, searches for Sakarat and finds her growing close to Sarut. Khunying, along with Ruangrung and Suwanit, follows him to Trat, but he refuses to return to Bangkok.
Asamon continues to provoke Khunying, who in turn grows to hate her daughter-in-law even more and declares she will never accept the child as her bloodline. Meanwhile, Wasuma demands her final payment from Asamon, but when she is refused, she becomes enraged. Under pressure from her debts, she loses control, sets fire to the dream house, and attempts to shoot Asamon. Fortunately, Ekarang arrives in time to save her.
Doctors successfully deliver Asamon’s baby, but she falls into a coma, and her survival remains uncertain. One by one, Khunying’s family members abandon her—including her own husband. Only Ekarang remains, though distant. This leads Khunying to realize that wealth, status, and power are fleeting, while true, lasting value lies in genuine love and giving.
Will everything eventually turn from tragedy to redemption?
Will Asamon recover and have a chance at a new life with Usman—or remain trapped in suffering?
And how will the love between Sakarat and Ekarang end?
