Pra Tinawong

In the city of Prommasali, King Aphainusin had a daughter named Thipmontha. On the day she was born, a fragrant scent spread throughout the entire city. However, the royal astrologer foretold that the princess would one day be separated from her homeland and would ultimately die together with her lover.
Meanwhile, Prince Thinawong disguised himself as a crippled man and secretly lived in the royal garden. One day, Princess Thipmontha went for a walk in the park with her seven elder sisters. There, she met the crippled man (Thinawong), spoke kindly with him, and even gave him her shawl. Her sisters reported this to King Aphainusin, who became furious and banished her to live with the crippled man.
This troubled Indra, the king of the gods, who descended to challenge King Aphainusin to a dice game. If the king lost, he would be executed. In desperation, King Aphainusin went to plead with Thinawong for help. Thinawong then revealed his true abilities, impressing everyone, and was eventually invited to reside in the royal palace.
