Pailin has just started teaching at a school where she meets two siblings, Thongtae and Nguanyuang, who often sneak out during the day. She investigates and discovers that their mother, Jan, suffers from chronic alcoholism. Feeling sympathy for the family, Pailin secretly follows them. The moment Jan sees her, she suddenly has a seizure and collapses.
Pailin tells Mae Paed, her adoptive mother—a transgender woman—about what happened. Shocked, Mae Paed reveals the truth: Jan is Pailin’s biological mother, and she also has two older sisters named Petch and Ploy.
Pailin goes to see Jan, but Jan denies being her mother and angrily chases her away. Heartbroken, Pailin walks in the rain and eventually faints, collapsing onto Danny’s car. Startled, Danny thinks he hit her, so he takes her to his condo. Struck by her tearful face, he secretly takes a photo of her. When Pailin regains consciousness, she accuses Danny of being a creep and quickly runs away.
Back home, Pailin tells Mae Paed that she will no longer get involved with Jan. However, before she can finish, Thongtae and Nguanyuang rush in to say that Jan is seriously ill. Mae Paed and Pailin take her to the hospital, where the doctor says the treatment will be very expensive.
Determined, Pailin decides to search for her sisters, Petch and Ploy.
Petch was raised in a wealthy business family by Chen and Saichon, who trained her to be a strong, strict, and disciplined woman. Meanwhile, Chen’s younger sister, Choi, and her daughter Chongko return from abroad to claim a share of the inheritance. Saichon refuses to let them take advantage, increasing pressure on Petch by making her work harder. When Choi and Chongko join the company, they create even more problems for her.
Pailin asks Yindee, a former colleague of Petch, to help arrange a meeting—but she fails to meet her sister.
