Intuon, a beautiful young woman who studied abroad, sits clutching a fine porcelain doll dressed in a white ballet costume tightly to her chest. She cries until she has no tears left.
She has been studying in England for about five years, with only one year left before completing her bachelor’s degree. But then, her father suddenly passes away.
Intuon picks up a letter from Sajee, her stepmother, and rereads it over and over again—so many times she has lost count.
