Ka Sa Na Ka

A strikingly beautiful young woman with long, flowing black hair and deep, mysterious dark eyes sits gracefully on a large platform. Her slender figure sways gently like a reed in the wind. The clear, delicate sound of a gong drifts through the air like a celestial melody, mingling with the rhythmic clatter of a loom. She is weaving—soft, smooth silk, its threads pure white, carefully woven into a long piece of fabric.
That piece of silk is then placed into the hands of Waree. A faint voice, like a whisper, says:
“Entrust this kasa cloth to Wadchan, for the day when the man she loves most enters monkhood. Don’t forget—this cloth belongs to Wadchan.”
Waree suddenly awakens from the vivid dream, as if it were real. The next day, a long piece of white silk from an antique shop mysteriously comes into her possession. She keeps it carefully until the time comes.
Years pass, and Wadchan—Waree and Phisut’s only daughter—turns 21. It is then that she meets Phongphaya, the man she loves most in her life.
