Synopsis
The Siriseni family is an old noble lineage that has been passed down through generations. The current head of the family is Khun Amara, who has only one son, Sorawit, a young and highly sought-after businessman. Sorawit married Sudawan, the daughter of a wealthy family, for a single reason: social and economic suitability.
Even after marriage, Sorawit and Sudawan continued their previous lifestyles. Sorawit remained a playboy, seeking pleasure as a young man, while Sudawan immersed herself in high society. Although they had two children, Atisak and Orasri, Sudawan showed little interest in raising them, leaving their upbringing to a nanny and Khun Amara, their grandmother.
Khun Amara had a senior female servant named Wad, a gentle, sweet, and attentive young woman. One day, Wad became Sorawit’s wife, partly by her own reluctant consent and partly due to Khun Amara’s encouragement. Eventually, Wad became pregnant, which angered Sudawan and made her consider filing for divorce. However, she reconsidered, realizing that Wad could now rise in status to become the principal wife, knowing well that Khun Amara loved her dearly and had trained her in managing the household and social affairs.
Sudawan adopted the same strategy as Khun Amara by bringing another granddaughter into the household. As expected, Phuangmanee, Sudawan’s granddaughter, also became one of Sorawit’s wives.
