Synopsis
“Nueng Mit Chit Klai” (Close Friends, Closer Hearts)
This is the story of a pair of rivals in a radio production company called Ruammit Radio.
On one side is “Kaemboom” (Ornjira Laemwilai), a freshly graduated young woman who studied abroad and has been assigned to manage her family’s business. On the other side is “Nai” (Nawat Kulrattanarak), the general manager and the driving force behind the station’s radio programs.
Kaem and Nai are not meeting for the first time—they were classmates back in high school. Nai was the typical back-row student: athletic, popular, and the school heartthrob. Meanwhile, Kaem was a diligent, nerdy girl with braces and acne, always sitting in the front row. Their completely different personalities caused constant friction, and both had embarrassing moments involving each other, leaving behind a long-standing grudge.
Their clashes don’t just happen at work—the situation becomes even more chaotic when Kaem moves into a condo unit directly opposite Nai’s. They become rivals both in the office and at home. Whenever they argue, they are perfectly matched—like evenly skilled boxers—neither willing to back down. Sometimes, it even makes others wonder if there might be deeper feelings between them. But that seems unlikely, as both already have partners.
“Vee” (Tripol Promsuwan), a wealthy businessman, is Kaem’s caring and attentive boyfriend.
“Or-Ae” (May Fueng-arom) is Nai’s sweet, clingy girlfriend who loves and obeys him completely.
Beyond the four of them, the office is filled with a colorful mix of unique personalities:
Aunt Usa (Pissamai Wilaisak), the founder of the radio station, who still frequently drops by even after handing management over to her niece
Uncle Uth (Yong Chernyim), a veteran DJ who may have lost his passion but still brings humor to the workplace
Judy (Tui Tuay Puttachad), a senior DJ known for flirting with younger men—especially
Thana (Pop Kamkasem), a handsome new-generation DJ adored by many women
Go (Marut Yupanan), Kaem’s younger brother, also a DJ—charming, flirtatious, and cunning
Sun (Sonthaya Chitmani), the office coordinator, kind-hearted, playful, and sincere
Together, this unlikely group creates a lively, chaotic, and unexpectedly engaging workplace—where rivalry, friendship, and perhaps even love begin to intertwine.
