Synopsis
In the Khmer Empire, Year 1524
A prince named Chao Fa Dam was born into the royal family of King Siriworaman. The day of his birth was considered an ominous and disastrous day. A hermit foretold that when Chao Fa Dam reached the age of 25, he would either become a great king—or, if fate failed him, the lord of all demons.
Fearing this prophecy, King Siriworaman ordered the construction of Bayon Buren Temple, a sanctuary of righteousness dedicated to Vishnu, to counter the ill fate. Chao Fa Dam later married Metawadee, a perfect and virtuous woman.
Before the king passed away, he urged Chao Fa Dam to complete the temple before the ritual day. However, before the ceremony could take place, Chao Fa Dam was attacked by David, a vampire who arrived on a junk ship. David drained his blood but revived him by forcing him to drink his own blood. Chao Fa Dam became a vampire, losing control and eventually killing Metawadee by draining her blood—turning her into an immortal as well.
Present Day
Police Lieutenant Mesayon and Sergeant Sida were assigned to track down illegal arms dealers, but they accidentally crossed into Cambodia and nearly lost their lives—until they were rescued by Colonel Khiao and his men. Impressed by Mesayon, the colonel gave him a protective amulet.
At an abandoned house, a shaman named Khaek and his companion Juk tricked thrill-seekers with supernatural setups. Later, a foreigner bought the house, but they were shocked to discover that he served another man like a king.
Mesayon and Sida were then assigned by Inspector Somjet to investigate a brutal motorcycle gang that robbed and murdered victims by biting their necks and draining their blood.
Khaek and Juk tried to reclaim the house by disguising themselves as ghosts, but Juk was killed by Chao Fa Dam. Khaek narrowly escaped and told Mesayon and Sida everything.
Rising Conflict
Meanwhile, Mesayon had relationship problems with his girlfriend Ja, whose father disapproved of him, believing he had no future as a police officer and was incapable of solving the case. This opened the door for Chao Fa Dam—disguised as Dr. Prathet—to come between them, as he believed Ja was the reincarnation of Metawadee.
Mesayon, Sida, and Khaek encountered Chao Fa Dam’s followers and fought them, killing them with silver bullets.
They later met Colonel Khiao again and learned the truth: he led a special unit to eliminate Chao Fa Dam, and only silver bullets could kill him—of which only five remained.
Tragedy Strikes
Inspector Somjet and Sergeant Sida were overpowered—Somjet was turned into a servant of Chao Fa Dam, while Sida was killed.
Mesayon discovered that Dr. Prathet was actually Chao Fa Dam in disguise, seeking to possess Ja.
Mesayon fled with Ja to Cambodia, hiding in the Temple of Goodness. But Chao Fa Dam found them and tricked Mesayon into using up all the silver bullets, capturing Ja once again.
Final Revelation
At that moment, the spirit of Metawadee appeared and revealed the truth: Ja was not her reincarnation. She also told Chao Fa Dam that all the souls he had killed could not be reborn—filling him with immense sorrow.
Metawadee revealed one final secret to Mesayon: the amulet he carried was actually the last silver bullet. If fired directly into the center of Chao Fa Dam’s forehead, it would destroy him.
