Tee Trakoon Song

Kiang and Kimney were once the owners of a famous lion dance troupe. However, they were forced to shut it down after a rival troupe lured away their main lion head performer. Kiang then changed his profession and now sells coffee in Yaowarat market to support his family—Ah Gong, Ah Ma, and their four children: Yong, the eldest who takes care of his three younger siblings, Ming, Foo, and Chai.
One day, Ah Ma falls seriously ill and requires a large amount of money for treatment. Around the same time, Jen, the daughter of a patongko (fried dough) shop owner, returns to Yaowarat to visit her family. She is now married to Li Feng, a Hong Kong businessman. After learning about Kiang’s situation, she wants to help, and decides to adopt Chai as her child.
