In the deep jungles of the borderlands, two hunters named Ramarat and Phuphai—sworn brothers born at the stroke of midnight during a lunar eclipse—seek a legendary power. According to ancient beliefs, those born at this exact moment are the "Heirs of the Demon," capable of mastering the highest levels of black magic. For years, the two have tracked the "Demon Grimoire" until their goal is finally within reach.
However, greed consumes Ramarat. Forgetting their bond, he attempts to claim the grimoire for himself, and the two turn on each other in a violent struggle. During the fight, Phuphai uses fire to burn and wound Ramarat. Suddenly, a supernatural disaster causes the cave to collapse; Ramarat manages to escape, leaving Phuphai and the grimoire buried within the ruins.
Seventeen years pass. Four girls—Tharnsai, Plerngpit, Wayuta, and Euangsai—grow up in different environments, possessing vastly different personalities and lineages. Yet, they share one commonality: all four were born on the very day the two hunters dedicated themselves as heirs to the demon. Each girl represents a different elemental power. According to the dark arts, if these four elements unite, they will unleash a demonic force so malevolent that no one can withstand it.
Tharnsai, now sixteen, is an orphan raised by Yaem and Yoy, a pair of swindlers who make a living tricking villagers. They try to train Tharnsai to shoplift from supermarkets, but her timid nature causes her to fail almost every time. During her latest attempt, she is nearly caught by security guards. Tharnsai manages to escape just in time, only to run head-on into Shane, the son of the owner of Maratee Commerce School.
