Synopsis
Palita, a three-time consecutive “Employee of the Year” at Sawasdee Buri Hotel, is promoted to Head Housekeeper thanks to her diligence and honesty. Her coworkers see her as perfect and assume she comes from a wealthy family. In reality, she was raised by Pranee, a mother addicted to gambling and debt, while her younger brother Paranan lives extravagantly and constantly relies on her for money.
Her promotion brings her into conflict with Thawin, a brash and troublesome new employee. They clash from the start, as Palita mistakenly believes he is a drifter sneaking into the hotel. In truth, Thawin is the youngest son of Sureerat, the hotel’s owner, who forces him to train incognito to reform his irresponsible behavior. In exchange, he hopes to gain funding to open a pub in the U.S.
Under Palita’s strict supervision, Thawin struggles, often clashing with hotel guests—sometimes even defending her from harassment, though in ways she disapproves of. When his training ends, Palita refuses to approve him, making her his number one enemy. Bound by his agreement with his mother, Thawin must stay and learn the family business.
Soon after, Thawin discovers that Palita’s mother owes his family a large debt. Seeking revenge, he arranges for Palita to work as a housemaid in his home instead of repaying the money. Unaware of his motives, Palita agrees out of gratitude to Sureerat. However, upon arrival, she realizes she has become little more than a servant, constantly tormented by Thawin and the strict head maid, Aunt Wad.
Fortunately, Thirawit, Thawin’s older brother, takes a liking to Palita and helps her. This sparks jealousy in Thawin, who is used to being compared unfavorably to his brother. Their rivalry intensifies, with Thawin both tormenting and developing feelings for Palita, though he refuses to admit it.
Meanwhile, complications arise: a high-society woman, Somsongsang—who has a past conflict with Palita—enters the picture and falls for Thawin. Family pressure leads to a planned marriage, which spirals into chaos, misunderstandings, and even an accident that leaves Thawin and Palita stranded together, forcing them to confront their true feelings.
As the story unfolds, betrayals, family conflicts, and business rivalries escalate. Thirawit turns against his family, Palita struggles with debt and dignity, and Thawin battles between pride and love. In the end, after countless misunderstandings and emotional turmoil, Thawin finally confesses his love, and the two reconcile with the help of the villagers—bringing their complicated love story to a heartfelt resolution.
