Tepthida Rong Ngarn

Nattana Kumwong, also known as Oi, is a young woman from rural Isan who leaves her uncle—her only parent—and heads to Bangkok with her best friend, Tik, to work at the Mahasap Sombun textile factory. They are encouraged and helped by Boontem, a neighbor who already works there. This is their first journey from their hometown to the big city, filled with hopes for a better life.
Their departure saddens Aod, who has long been in love with Oi. However, she pays him no attention because of his arrogant, gangster-like attitude, stemming from being the village headman’s son.
On their very first day in Bangkok, while applying for jobs, Oi and Tik encounter scammers who try to steal their belongings. Luckily, Pakorn and Boontem arrive just in time to help them. This leads to love at first sight between Pakorn and Oi.
Their relationship develops further when Pakorn, the son of the factory owner, disguises himself as an ordinary worker and applies for a job alongside Oi. His father, Seksan, is aware of and supports this plan, keeping it a secret from his wife, Rangsima. He hopes his son, who has just returned from studying abroad, will learn about and experience the real life of factory workers.
After securing jobs, Boontem introduces Oi and Tik to Aunt Thongchan, a long-time factory worker, and helps them find a place to stay. They also become friends with fellow workers Sao and Ueang, bonding instantly. Another person who is immediately smitten with Oi is Paen, a songthaew driver, who confidently tries to win her over, believing in his own charm.
Paen’s persistent attempts to court Oi often lead to conflicts with Boontem, who constantly interferes. However, no matter how hard Paen tries, Oi only sees him as a friend. Though disappointed, he continues to treat her kindly, secretly hoping she might one day change her mind.
Meanwhile, Pakorn works at the factory undercover as a regular employee. Only Kom, the driver, and Seksan know his true identity. Kom takes on the role of watching over Pakorn, especially when he is pushed around or overworked by strict supervisors, ensuring his safety while he learns the realities of factory life.
