Jao Bow Kon Krua

Grandfather Charuek wants his granddaughter, Dr. Thankhwan, to marry Khem, a chef with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics. Khem is the grandson of Satcha, Charuek's best friend. Even Sahachat, Thankhwan's father, agrees with the grandfather's plan.
Determined to find a way out of this arranged marriage, Thankhwan decides to dig up dirt on Khem to use as leverage against her grandfather. She visits her close friend Plabuu at her condo for help. Although Plabuu tries to persuade her to follow her grandfather's wishes, Thankhwan refuses and drags Plabuu to Khem’s restaurant to spy on him.
The Misunderstanding
When they arrive at the restaurant, Thankhwan sees Khem surrounded by female friends and ladyboys, while the waiters are all muscular young men. Convinced she has found "explosive" evidence that Khem is gay, she leaves feeling triumphant. Khem, however, watches her behavior with amusement, knowing full well that she is there to investigate him.
Khem’s friend, Dr. Phlai, pities Khem for being forced into a marriage, but Khem isn't worried—he is confident he can reach an agreement with Thankhwan. Phlai warns him that it won't be that easy; Phlai has checked their horoscopes and discovered that the two are actually soulmates.
Horoscope and Fate
Thankhwan rushes her grandfather to the restaurant to witness Khem’s "behavior," but instead of seeing what she expected, they find a group of women arguing over who gets to talk to Khem. Grandfather Charuek smiles, seeing that Thankhwan's information was completely wrong.
Meanwhile, Plabuu visits the Department of Export Promotion to consult on exporting cloth dolls and meets Phlai, who is acting as a consultant. Plabuu is instantly smitten and immediately schedules a meeting with him for the next day. Phlai is slightly intimidated by her boldness. When Plabuu learns that Phlai is a gifted fortune teller, she begs him to read her future.
The plot thickens for Phlai when he returns to his condo and realizes Plabuu lives in the room directly opposite his. After checking her horoscope, he is shocked to find that she is his own true soulmate.
Later, Grandfather Charuek brings Thankhwan to have her fortune told by Phlai. Phlai predicts that Thankhwan is destined to be married within three months. Follow the rest of the story in Jao Bow Kon Krua.
