Neung Nai Suang

The news of Anawat Patcharapojanath (Neung) returning from France after completing his master’s degree in diplomacy draws great attention—especially from women like Khunying Sisuk and her daughter Songsang. However, Hathairat Ratchaphithak, an orphan raised by Sut and Thip Dueanpradap as their own daughter, feels neither excited nor impressed. In fact, she dislikes Anawat’s arrogant and unyielding personality.
After returning to Thailand, Anawat visits relatives, including Sisuk’s and the Dueanpradap households, but repeatedly misses Hathairat. He later visits his old friend Pinit Phanatsapong, only to find that Pinit has gone to recuperate at his brother Pinai’s farm, heartbroken over his love for Hathairat. This causes Anawat to form a negative bias against her.
Eventually, Anawat meets Hathairat at the Dueanpradap home, along with Sattha and Suda. He becomes irritated by her cold and dismissive attitude, seeing it as a deep insult. Determined to “win” against her, he begins constantly provoking and arguing with her.
At a birthday party held for Sut, Songsang dances with Anawat almost every song, while Hathairat is equally popular with other men. Though both secretly watch each other, they end the night still at odds. Despite claiming he doesn’t love her—and even hates her—Anawat continues to tease and argue with Hathairat daily.
Later, when Anawat hears that Dr. Prasong is getting married to Ura, he mistakenly believes the bride is Hathairat and feels deeply disappointed. Upon learning the truth—that she is only a bridesmaid—he becomes angry at the misunderstanding and, in a moment of impulsiveness, forces himself on her when driving her home. Hathairat is furious, while Anawat feels a twisted sense of victory.
Meanwhile, Pinit agrees to marry Jampii to please his mother, but falls gravely ill before the wedding and longs to see Hathairat one last time. Anawat takes her to visit him, but Pinit has already been sent back to Bangkok. On their return journey, Anawat’s car breaks down, forcing them to spend the night alone together. This leads to reprimands from their families, and Anawat is made to get engaged to Hathairat to take responsibility.
Hathairat agrees to the engagement partly to spite Sisuk and Songsang. Anawat eventually confesses his love and proposes, but she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. Soon after, news arrives that Anawat has been seriously injured in a car accident in Chiang Mai. Shocked and worried, Hathairat rushes to see him.
When they finally meet again, both open their hearts. Hathairat promises to love and care for him forever. Deeply moved by her sincere love, Anawat accepts it, and the two marry and live happily ever after.
