Synopsis

In 1934, in Thayang, Phetchaburi, a woman named Yee gave birth to a son in solitude. Her husband, Chom, had abandoned her amid rumors of his infidelity. Yee decided to move to Bangkok for work, leaving her infant son with his grandfather. The boy grew up known as Bunthing, raised by Phra Chaem and his paternal relatives, Fon and Nu, until he was nine years old. By then, Yee had remarried, gained financial stability, and sent her sister to bring Bunthing to live with her. However, she instructed him to call her "Aunt" and changed his name to Supit.
Supit attended Thai Prasat School, where he became a school boxer. At 18, he won a gold medal in a championship and proudly showed it to his mother, but her indifference left him deeply hurt. After finishing high school, he moved to Korat to attend flight school. He befriended Sommart, but a series of events cut his aviation dreams short. His friends consoled him and suggested a fresh start with a new name: Pichet Phumhem.
Pichet was sent back to the Don Mueang Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer School to serve as a drill sergeant instead of a pilot. Sommart, who had failed his exams, was stationed at the same place. Aspiring to be an actor, Sommart convinced Pichet to seek help from a journalist named King. Eventually, Surat Pukkawet, editor of Dara Thai magazine, took an interest in Pichet and introduced him to a new producer, Rangsan Tantikul, and director Prateep Komonpis.
Rangsan was highly impressed, and Pichet was given the stage name Mitr Chaibancha. Excited, Mitr went to tell Yee about his new name, but she insisted he was still Supit and refused to call him anything else. On his first day of filming, Mitr was nervous acting alongside three leading ladies: Rewadee Sriwilai, Naiyana Thanomsap, and Namnguen Boonnak. His debut film, Chat Suea (Tiger Instinct), was a massive success, launching him as a superstar.
His life changed rapidly. He moved to a house in Soi Pluk Chit, Bon Kai, where he noticed his windows were being broken almost daily. He eventually caught a schoolgirl named Jim red-handed. After talking and reaching an understanding, they developed feelings for one another. When Jim’s aunt found out, Mitr took responsibility by quietly registering their marriage. However, their married life was strained as Mitr's booming career left him with no time for her.
While Jim was pregnant, Mitr met a new actress, Phetchara Chaowarat, on the set of Banthuek Rak Kong Phimchawee (Phimchawee’s Love Diary). He felt an immediate connection with her. Around this time, Mitr also reunited with his father, Chom, and prepared for his own fatherhood. Jim gave birth while Mitr was recovering from an accident. When rumors about his secret family began to spread, Mitr moved Jim to a new house to hide from reporters. He named his son Yutthana (nickname Ton) and loved him dearly, despite his busy schedule.
Mitr and Phetchara grew closer, and special feelings developed between them. One day, Jim discovered a photo of Phetchara and confronted her, revealing she was Mitr's wife. Distraught, Phetchara decided to maintain only a sibling-like relationship with Mitr. Noticing Phetchara’s closeness with a singer, a jealous Mitr tried everything to win her back, leading to constant friction.
Mitr then met a newcomer, Kingdao Daranee, on the set of Jai Diew. Initially, they were cold toward each other, but as Mitr saw Phetchara's bond with the singer grow, he turned his attention to Kingdao. Their relationship progressed quickly. Despite her parents' objections, Kingdao moved in with Mitr at his Nang Loeng house. However, Mitr’s intense jealousy caused frequent arguments.
Conflict peaked when Ton’s gold bracelet was stolen. Jim reported it to the police, and it became a public scandal. Mitr accused Jim of leaking the story to the press, leading her to ask for a divorce. Kingdao, seeing the news, tried to leave Mitr, but his apologies eventually won her back. Mitr built a new house and hired an old friend, Chamrat, to manage it. Kingdao mistrusted Chamrat’s honesty, and Chamrat, resenting her, began poisoning Mitr’s mind against her, fueling further domestic turmoil.
