Synopsis
In the land of Wiang Khan, a realm that exists in another dimension opposite to the human world—much like a hidden, unreachable city—no ordinary human can enter, and those from Wiang Khan cannot come to the human world. If they cross over, they can never return. Only a few possess the ability to travel between both worlds. One of them is Kayamae, a shaman of the Black Tiger cult, a disciple of the young witch Wanna.
In the past, Wanna battled Thao Saenchai, but was defeated. She escaped by sending her spirit across into the human world. Later, Thao Saenchai and Lady Pathumthewi were pursued by Wanna’s followers and fled to a cave by a waterfall. There, Pathumthewi was taken hostage. To prevent further suffering, she used Thao Saenchai’s silver dagger to take her own life. Enraged, Thao Saenchai killed the witch’s followers and entombed Pathumthewi’s body within a crystal wall, along with the silver dagger. From then on, people believed that the dagger could destroy the spirit of the Black Tiger.
Eventually, Wanna’s spirit began to roam again, possessing a woman named Angkor, turning her into a man-eating tiger spirit. In the end, her spirit was destroyed by the silver dagger and sealed within the crystal wall once more. This reinforced the belief that the dagger could eliminate the evil tiger spirit.
Years later, Kayamae, Wanna’s disciple, led an army of dark spirits to attack Wiang Khan—once the kingdom of Thao Saenchai. King Makayin and Queen Anya ordered Aongtu, the royal guard, along with his wife Maya and their children Mangka and Dani, to escort the young princess Aya to safety in the human world. The princess was given a necklace with an eye-shaped pendant to open a secret passage between dimensions.
Queen Anya sacrificed her life to protect the king, but King Makayin was captured by Kayamae. Meanwhile, Aongtu and his family brought Princess Aya through a cave by the waterfall into the human world.
At the same time, two archaeologists, Dr. Jenkins and his wife Rose, were searching for the silver dagger to display in a foreign museum. Guided by a hunter named Ong, Dr. Jenkins discovered the dagger embedded in a wall and ordered it to be removed—despite Ong’s warning that it was sealing the tiger spirit, and removing it would unleash deadly consequences.
Twenty years later, the princess has grown up in the human world, raised by Dr. Jenkins and Rose as their adopted daughter, named Nicha. She becomes a police lieutenant, engaged to Police Major Akrapol, who is also an officer.
While investigating a drug case, Nicha targets a powerful businessman named Damrong. During a raid, he attempts to kill her. As she loses consciousness, an unknown force saves her life. When she awakens, Damrong and his men are found dead—mauled as if by a tiger.
Akrapol takes Nicha to the hospital, where she is treated by Dr. Krittiya. Upon seeing Nicha’s distinctive necklace, Krittiya rushes to inform Maya and Korpakan, a forest officer. She reveals that she has found the lost princess. In truth, Krittiya is Dani, and Korpakan is Mangka, the children of Aongtu and Maya, who had escaped Wiang Khan to protect the princess.
Once they realize that Nicha is the princess, Maya and her children travel to Bangkok to protect her—especially from Kongdet, Damrong’s brother, who seeks revenge. Together, they try to find a way to remove the evil spirit residing within Nicha.
However, when they reveal the truth to her, Nicha refuses to believe that an evil spirit exists inside her…
