Chanokchon was born amidst a storm of conflict, the product of a broken home between Chonnipha and Weeraphat. Consequently, he became the target of his mother’s deep-seated resentment toward his father. Unlike his half-brother, Chayangkun (the son of his mother’s new husband, Thanakorn), who receives their mother’s unconditional love, Chanokchon has never known maternal affection.
Despite their vastly different upbringings, Chanokchon remains loving and protective toward his younger brother. In contrast, Chayangkun is consumed by jealousy and a constant need to outshine his older brother.
Chanokchon’s struggles resonate with Sutaphan, a girl who recently moved in next door. The two bond quickly, discovering that their lives are mirror images of one another. Sutaphan is the product of a household governed by suffocating rules; her father, Suthin, is a strict, high-ranking military officer, and her mother, Saowanit, is a teacher who enforces discipline through harsh punishment.
While this rigid environment keeps Sutaphan on the right path, it causes her younger sister, Surampha, to rebel and desperately seek the "colors" of the outside world. As Sutaphan and Chanokchon grow closer, the family dynamics shift: Chayangkun, who is in love with Sutaphan, marks Chanokchon as his romantic rival, while Surampha, who harbors a crush on Chanokchon, grows increasingly jealous of her own sister’s intimacy with the man she desires.
