Arranged Bride into the Family Name tells the story of Chonkamon, a wealthy, foreign-educated young man from an elite, old aristocratic family. Because of his status and fortune, he becomes the target of many women the moment he returns to Thailand. However, his mother, Lady Jankrajangfah, welcomes him home by forcing an arranged engagement upon him—with Ornanong (Or), a famous leading actress. Behind her glamorous image, though, she is actually temperamental and difficult.
Chonkamon’s friends are thrilled and fully support the match, since Or is their dream celebrity. But Chonkamon feels nothing for her at all. While he struggles with this dilemma, his friends suggest he relax at a spa. There, he meets a beautiful massage therapist named Fahprathan (Fah). She is highly skilled, with certification from Wat Pho. However, during their first meeting, Chonkamon misunderstands her—thinking she offers “extra services”—which angers Fah so much that she punches him. Despite this rocky start, he becomes intrigued by her charm.
Fah comes from Sakon Nakhon Province. Her mother, Sai, works as a farmer, and her 17-year-old sister, Duean, loves singing country music and helps take care of their mother while Fah works in Bangkok. Fah dreams of earning enough money to buy back her family’s farmland. At the spa, she is pursued by Manat, the son of a wealthy family, but she only sees him as a friend. She still believes in true love and has not opened her heart to anyone.
Meanwhile, Chonkamon is increasingly pressured by his mother and Or to marry. In desperation, he blurts out that he already has a wife from America who is about to return. His mother is shocked. To cover up his lie, he approaches Fah with an offer. At the same time, Fah urgently needs money to pay off her family’s debts. After careful consideration, she agrees to pretend to be his wife for one year in exchange for financial help.
Chonkamon quickly transforms Fah from a rural massage therapist into a refined, foreign-educated lady. She moves into the Pattanasirowong mansion with her sister Duean, who must also pretend to be a high school girl as part of their agreement.
Although Fah’s presence solves Chonkamon’s immediate problem, life in the mansion is far from peaceful. She faces hostility from his strict mother, Ornanong (who frequently causes trouble), and even the servants—especially Whee, the loyal maid of Lady Jankrajangfah. Chonkamon’s rebellious younger brother, Wee, also initially opposes her.
The only person kind to Fah is Chonkamon’s father, Kriangkrai, who is partially paralyzed and has difficulty speaking. He treats Fah like a daughter, but his condition limits his authority in the household, as his wife controls everything.
While hiding her true identity, Fah grows closer to Chonkamon. What started as dislike gradually turns into love. She narrowly avoids having her secret exposed several times. Meanwhile, Manat continues pursuing her, causing jealousy in Chonkamon.
Fah’s massage skills help improve Kriangkrai’s condition, and he gradually recovers. At the same time, Duean’s lively personality softens Wee, who eventually switches sides to support Fah.
However, just as their contract nears its end and their love begins to blossom, Fah’s secret is exposed by Lady Jankrajangfah and Or. They discover that she is not a refined lady but merely a spa masseuse who has been deceiving everyone. Chonkamon is then forced to marry Ornanong.
Fah has no choice but to return to Sakon Nakhon with the money to redeem her family’s land. As the high-profile wedding between Chonkamon and Or approaches—becoming the talk of the nation—Chonkamon must finally decide what true love means to him.
Encouraged by his younger brother and his father, who has now recovered and reclaimed authority in the household, Chonkamon rushes to find Fah and ask her to marry him properly—both legally and from the heart.
