Taree Buhnga

Set in the year R.S. 123 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, the story follows Khun Atthaborirak, a young government officer assigned to oversee a southern province. There, he meets Bunga, a gentle and beautiful young woman, the daughter of a local chieftain who governs Koh Lantom. It is here that a legendary tale of love, memories, and haunting tragedy begins—one that will be passed down through generations.
At a welcoming ceremony for the new official, Bunga (played by Busakorn Pornwanasiriwech) performs the graceful “Tari Bunga” dance, captivating Khun At (played by Johnny Anfone). It is love at first sight, and before long, their relationship deepens into a profound bond.
However, fate intervenes cruelly. Khun At is urgently summoned away for official duty, and their love is obstructed by Bunga’s father and Khayoh (played by Panudet Wattanasuchat), a man who is also in love with her. The two lovers are forced apart.
Before parting, they exchange kris daggers and cut their palms with them, swearing a blood oath—each pledging their life to the other. Khun At promises Bunga that he will return for her on the night of the waning moon (the 15th night), known as the day of sending off ancestral spirits.
Will he return as promised? And what fate awaits their love?
