Synopsis

After the death of Marsha Wattanapanich’s character Ah Liu, the Five Oceans Association falls under the control of Big Chai (Kaonamkeng), while Teng Lor (played by Nirut Sirijanya) remains in a coma due to severe injuries.
Everything changes when Ruji (Sroi), the girlfriend of Tee Lek, gives birth to a baby boy. Miraculously, Teng Lor awakens from his long coma and orders a search for the last heir of the “Thammakul” family. This news angers Poi Tee, a branch leader who plans to seize power. He sends his trusted subordinate Ah Gui to eliminate the child and his mother.
Zhang Hao (played by Saksit Tangthong), who had withdrawn from the underworld, steps in to help—but arrives too late. Ruji and the others are killed, leaving only the baby, Ah Leng, whom Zhang Hao manages to save. Severely injured, he escapes and hides in the forest with the help of Alang, a hill tribe woman.
To protect the child, Zhang Hao and his ally Afan fake Ah Leng’s death by burning a hut with another child’s body inside. Zhang Hao then raises Ah Leng in isolation.
Eighteen years later, Ah Leng (played by Sattawat Sethakorn) grows into a mischievous young man, much like his father. Meanwhile, Teng Lor, now older, still struggles to maintain control over the increasingly unstable Five Oceans Association.
Ah Mei, the daughter of Big Chai, is one of the few who truly understands Teng Lor. However, political tensions rise as Poi Tee builds power through his sons, while also trying to unite factions through marriage alliances.
Fate brings Ah Leng and Ah Mei together, and they quickly grow close. When Zhang Hao discovers Ah Mei’s connection to the association, he drives her away, causing Ah Leng to leave for Bangkok with her. There, Ah Leng unknowingly meets Teng Lor—his grandfather—who feels an unexplainable bond with him.
Eventually, the truth is revealed when Teng Lor discovers a family ring proving Ah Leng is his grandson. Determined to secure his legacy, Teng Lor plots to eliminate Zhang Hao, knowing he would never allow Ah Leng to inherit power.
A violent chain of betrayals, ambushes, and revenge follows:
  • Teng Lor and Zhang Hao confront each other and both suffer fatal injuries
  • Poi Tee’s faction descends into internal betrayal and madness
  • Rival factions clash in deadly battles for control
Before dying, Teng Lor leaves letters confirming Ah Leng’s true identity. Zhang Hao also dies after reminding Ah Leng of the tragic past, urging him not to repeat the same cycle of violence.
In the aftermath, Ah Leng is forced to step into the power struggle. Although he initially avoids revealing his identity, circumstances push him to claim his place and confront Poi Tee. More bloodshed follows, including betrayals within families and the collapse of alliances.
In the end:
  • The enemies are defeated
  • The association survives—but at a great cost
  • Ah Leng loses everyone he loves, including Ah Mei
With nothing left, Ah Leng withdraws into the forest, choosing to live alone—
like a “lone dragon.”
