Synopsis

Temtrong, a young woman who has been unemployed for years, struggles even more during a severe economic downturn. Determined to turn her life around, she decides to seriously look for work. In the end, she chooses to become a green curry seller—her favorite dish—using a secret recipe from Sarapee that everyone loves.
Before moving out, Temtrong helps her apartment friend Nokyoong escape from Somsak, the man who raised her, so she can be with her lover Borawit, the son of a wealthy woman named Bralee. To help Nokyoong flee, Temtrong disguises herself as a nightlife woman. During this, she meets Sarut, Borawit’s close friend, who mistakenly assumes Temtrong works in the same profession as Nokyoong. Despite barely knowing her, Sarut falls in love with Temtrong—even though he already has a girlfriend, Buranee (Baby), the daughter of a minister.
When Somsak learns of Nokyoong’s disappearance, he becomes furious and orders his men to track her down.
Meanwhile, Santi, Sarut’s grandfather, returns from abroad and stays at a garden house in Nonthaburi. Through conversations, Sarut learns that his grandfather also once suffered from love but now wishes to reunite with his former lover—though he can’t remember where she lives anymore.
Eventually, Sarut meets Temtrong again in Nonthaburi and realizes she must live nearby. When his mother asks him to oversee the construction of a Japanese restaurant there, he eagerly accepts so he can stay close to her. Baby follows him and causes trouble, but Sarut gets help from his new friend Mod.
Nokyoong soon realizes that her life with Borawit isn’t as perfect as she imagined. Though he loves her, he doesn’t truly understand her selfish nature. Meanwhile, Sarut keeps pursuing Temtrong, still misunderstanding her as a nightlife worker—he even asks her price, which deeply offends her. Despite this, Temtrong secretly develops feelings for him.
When she seeks advice from her grandmother, she learns that her grandmother remained single despite having a man named Den who loved her—because of differences in social status. Unbeknownst to Temtrong, that man is actually Sarut’s grandfather.
As Temtrong prepares to open her curry shop, she struggles to find a name—until she remembers her grandmother’s house number: 2001. She names it “Green Curry 2001.”
On opening day, she offers free food, and everyone is impressed by the delicious taste. That same day, Santi reunites with Sarapee and discovers she has remained single, waiting for him all along.
The shop becomes very popular, giving Temtrong hope and stability. Sarut continues to pursue her sincerely.
Meanwhile, Nokyoong, pressured by Borawit and his mother, leaves him. Borawit later finds comfort with Pilaiporn. Nokyoong returns to Somsak, but he no longer cares about her—instead, he becomes interested in Temtrong.
Out of jealousy, Nokyoong and Baby conspire to lure Temtrong to Somsak’s house, planning for him to assault her and remove her from their lives. Temtrong narrowly escapes by bargaining—offering to reveal her grandmother’s secret curry recipe.
After all the turmoil, peace returns. Santi and Sarapee finally marry. Sarut learns the truth about everything and reconciles with Temtrong. In the end, they find happiness together—brought together by the charm of green curry at house number 2001.
