Ban Phu Tawan

Tawan (also known as Suriyachai Suriya), the disabled heir to the vast Baan Phu Tawan estate, narrowly escapes a brutal throat-slitting attempt in broad daylight. This life-saving intervention comes from Dang Ratchada, a spirited young woman who risks everything to help him, alongside Pol. Capt. San Yodbangfai, a sharp and capable young officer who springs into action to apprehend the assailant. From this shared trauma, a beautiful friendship blossoms between the two women and the young man.
Tawan finds herself quietly falling in love with San, while developing a deep bond of trust with Dang Ratchada, viewing her as a true elder sister. However, their paths diverge when San receives a scholarship from the Royal Thai Police to study criminology abroad. Left behind at Baan Phu Tawan—a billion-baht empire left to her following her parents' mysterious deaths—Tawan waits faithfully for the return of her "sister" and her beloved. During this time, she remains under the care of her aunt and stepmother, Saengphen, and her nanny, Bunnorm.
Two years pass. San returns to Thailand accompanied by Saengrawee, a sophisticated woman he lived with while overseas. He is immediately plunged into a series of complex criminal cases. Consumed by his love for Saengrawee and a high-stakes mission to hunt down the murderer of his close friend, San completely forgets the precious time he once shared with Tawan and Dang Ratchada.
In stark contrast, Tawan continues to search for them both. She grieves in silence, finding solace only in her artwork: a portrait of Dang Ratchada captioned "The Wonderful Elder Sister" and another haunting piece titled "Far Away."
