Synopsis
Patcharapa (Worattaya Nilkuha), the only daughter of Sia Song, also known as Songchai (Pairote Sangwaributr), is rather spoiled. She has two older brothers, Somsak and Somchai, and as the youngest and only daughter, she is deeply loved and overprotected by her father.
Sia Song has many enemies due to his involvement in politics and illegal business activities. Because of this, he assigns gunmen to follow and protect Patcharapa everywhere she goes, which greatly annoys her. Meanwhile, the authorities and police closely monitor Sia Song’s every move. An undercover officer named Thamnu (Prap Yuttapichai) is sent in as an accountant to investigate Sia Song’s illegal network.
Although Sia Song is pleased with Thamnu’s work, he disapproves of Patcharapa’s affection for him. Unable to stop her, he orders his most trusted hitman, Thatch (Asadawut Luangsuntorn), to guard Patcharapa and keep an eye on Thamnu as well. From the moment Thatch sees Patcharapa, he is captivated by her, but she is his boss’s daughter, and he must remain loyal. Thamnu, on the other hand, does not truly love Patcharapa but must pretend due to his assignment, which makes him feel guilty toward his fiancée, Ornsri (Rungrawi Borijindakul).
Patcharapa grows increasingly irritated with Thatch constantly watching her. One day, while out with her father at a hotel, she refuses to dine with him and sneaks off. She accidentally bumps into a man named Annop (Nattawut Sakidjai), who kindly lets it go. Later, she coincidentally meets Thamnu at a nearby restaurant. Thatch follows her there and encounters Annop again—revealing that Thatch is actually Annop’s half-brother. Their father had two families, and Thatch, born to a lower-status woman, was looked down upon by the family patriarch, Damrong (Adul Dulyarat), who controlled everyone’s lives but could never control Thatch. Only Annop ever protected him.
After enduring constant humiliation, Thatch left home. Annop, who later returned from studying abroad, chose to live a simple life running a farm instead of joining the family business, angering Damrong. Ever since, Annop has searched for Thatch out of concern. When they reunite, Annop urges Thatch to leave Sia Song’s dangerous world, but Thatch refuses. Both brothers realize they have feelings for Patcharapa.
Thatch reveals to Annop that Thamnu is an undercover agent. Annop connects this to Ornsri, who is Thamnu’s fiancée. Meanwhile, Sia Song plans to send Patcharapa to Bangkok for safety during political unrest and business conflicts with a rival, Sia Meng.
As events escalate, suspicions arise, betrayals unfold, and violence erupts. Thamnu is eventually beaten and later forced to testify against Sia Song. Sia Song is arrested but later killed in prison. After his death, chaos ensues—Somsak avenges him but is also killed.
Patcharapa orders Thatch to kill Thamnu, and despite hesitation, he does. He then takes her to Annop’s farm. There, a bold young woman named Penchan falls for Thatch, believing he and Patcharapa are a couple. Meanwhile, Ornsri is revealed to be pregnant with Thamnu’s child, causing further family conflict.
As relationships become more tangled, Annop asks Patcharapa to help with his work and tries to convince Thatch to stay, but Thatch fears bringing danger to them. Patcharapa and Annop devise a plan to make Thatch stay by pretending intimacy—but Thatch overhears and counters the plan. In the end, Patcharapa unknowingly becomes involved with Annop instead.
Thatch leaves, entrusting Patcharapa to Annop. Later, family tensions rise again when Damrong and Lady Nuansee attempt to separate Patcharapa from Annop. Meanwhile, Thatch returns and eventually marries Penchan, though his feelings for Patcharapa remain.
A violent attack leaves Annop injured. Before anything else unfolds, Thatch reveals the truth: Patcharapa was never his that night—she belonged to Annop, all part of his layered plan. After Annop recovers, Thatch encourages him to marry Patcharapa, stating he now has Penchan.
To escape his past as a hitman, Thatch and Penchan fake his death and start a new life. In the end, Damrong finally accepts Thatch, bringing long-awaited warmth into his life. Annop reconciles with his grandfather, and peace is restored.
Patcharapa marries Annop, Ajjima marries Somchai, and Thatch finds true love and happiness with Penchan.
