Synopsis

Police Colonel Setthapong Kaenphet, a famous crime suppression officer known from the Dr. Thatsathai case years ago, is assigned a secret mission. He leads a rapid-response special unit to raid one of the largest methamphetamine production factories along the Thai–Myanmar border. However, the young officer is betrayed—drug traffickers, in collusion with corrupt police, ambush and gun down his entire team. Setthapong barely survives.
At that hellish factory, he is saved by a mysterious woman dressed in a tight black suit and mask, known as “Pakiranam.” For years, she has secretly assisted anti-drug operations. She fights with extraordinary skill, defeating all enemies effortlessly. Strangely, no weapon can harm her—bullets and even bombs fail to work against her.
After saving Setthapong, she leaves behind crucial evidence that allows him to track down the corrupt officers behind the plot. She also declares she will continue helping him eliminate drug networks, but refuses to reveal her identity. Setthapong becomes determined to uncover who she really is and why she does this.
That same evening, Montakan Chotirat, a hugely popular actress, almost misses a charity concert for the “Saeng Arun” orphanage. She charms her way through the event, raising millions in donations. During the performance, a drug-crazed worker goes on a shooting rampage, but Montakan—nicknamed the “Action Queen”—manages to subdue him and save everyone unharmed.
Unknown to most, Montakan has a tragic past. Her father, a narcotics officer, was killed by drug traffickers, and her mother died giving birth to her on the same night—a dark lunar night. She was raised by Wadee, head of the Saeng Arun foundation. Wadee named her “Montakan” (meaning “moon”) as a blessing.
As she grows up, Montakan becomes a famous actress under director Weerachart, her close companion and rumored lover. Despite their bond, he never fully understands her mysterious nature. Witnessing the destruction drugs cause in the entertainment industry—including an attack that nearly kills Weerachart—Montakan decides to secretly fight back as Pakiranam.
In reality, Montakan is also a skilled computer expert. She communicates online with a mysterious informant known as “Hero,” who provides intelligence on drug networks. With his help, she dismantles many operations and donates confiscated money to orphanages nationwide under the name “Pakiranam” (meaning “to distribute”).
Her biggest target becomes Naren Apichai, a famous actor and son of a powerful politician, Sanong. Naren is secretly behind the drug trade in the entertainment industry. Montakan infiltrates his circle, gathers evidence, and ultimately exposes him. Setthapong arrests Naren, but Montakan vanishes as usual—after redirecting the seized money to charities.
Enraged, Naren vows revenge. Using his father’s influence, he escapes punishment and frames Pakiranam. He even hires a female assassin named Sinee to impersonate Pakiranam and commit crimes, damaging her reputation. Sinee attempts to kill Montakan multiple times, even infiltrating a hospital to poison her, but Montakan survives—especially on nights of the dark moon, when she seems mysteriously protected.
Eventually, Sinee’s tragic past is revealed—much like Montakan’s, but without the same chance at a better life. After failed assassination attempts, Sinee is captured, then nearly killed by Naren to silence her.
Meanwhile, Setthapong begins suspecting that Montakan and Pakiranam are the same person. Though he tries to stop her for her safety, he cannot hide his growing concern for her.
The conflict escalates: Setthapong is framed and imprisoned, Montakan loses Weerachart in a brutal attack, and she decides to fully embrace her identity as Pakiranam once more—this time to end everything.
With the help of allies, she uncovers the ultimate truth: “Hero,” her trusted informant, is actually Danaiyop, Wadee’s husband—a powerful businessman secretly running a massive drug empire. He had been using her to eliminate his rivals.
Betrayed, Montakan escapes custody and prepares for one final mission. She publicly announces a heist targeting Danaiyop’s bank—intending to expose him and donate the stolen money. She succeeds and reveals his hidden drug operation beneath the orphanage foundation.
In the final confrontation, Setthapong, bound by duty, confronts Pakiranam. Despite their inner conflict, they fight. He shoots her in the chest, and she falls into the Chao Phraya River—seemingly dead.
Her funeral is held quietly. Most mourn her, while Setthapong remains silent, hinting that things may not be as they seem.
Months later, on a private island resort, a beautiful woman appears as the manager. She had survived the gunshot—her heart is on the right side of her body, and the bullet only grazed her left shoulder. That day, though not a dark moon night, was a solar eclipse—when the moon covered the sun.
And so, the legend of Pakiranam—the power of the moon—rises once again.
