Muang Maya The Series

Catherine Taylor (Metinee Kingpayome), a famous Thai-American author, travels to Thailand to promote her internationally acclaimed mystery novel, Victim of Desire. The book is highly sought after by various television networks, including Channel 2. Kongsakul (Sanya Kunakorn) assigns Jongrak (Ornapha Krisadee) to secure the rights at any cost. However, Catherine’s agent, Jintana (Praima Ratchata), blocks the meeting, explaining that Catherine is hesitant to sell the story for fear of a poor adaptation.
After her promotional events, Catherine stays at a house arranged by Jintana and receives a mysterious invitation to a new club opening. There, she meets Pansruang Phongphet (Yuranunt Pamornmontri), a former leading actor who left the industry years ago. After marrying a socialite and moving to America, he has returned to Thailand as one of the country's most eligible widowers.
Catherine is deeply impressed and charmed by Pansruang. Following that night, he continues to pursue her until she eventually falls for his charms. Jintana strongly opposes the relationship, well-aware of Pansruang’s reputation as a womanizer who manipulates women for money. Despite Jintana's constant warnings, Catherine remains indifferent; she doesn't intend to get serious with him anyway, as she is scheduled to return to America in a few days with no certain plans to return.
