Synopsis

Tanyong is a beautiful, highly confident, and capable young woman whose life takes an unexpected turn after a tragic accident. The story begins when she discovers her fiancé, Phiram, betraying her with an employee in the very condo meant to be their bridal suite. Devastated and humiliated, Tanyong calls off the engagement and drives aimlessly until she reaches Ayutthaya.
After a series of frightening events—including being harassed by strangers and pursued by two cars—she crashes into a large tree. At that exact moment, her soul leaves her body.

The Miracle of the Soul Switch

By a twist of fate, Tanyong wakes up in a hospital to find herself in the body of Nong May (Mayrin), a 5-year-old girl who had fallen down the stairs at the same moment as Tanyong’s accident. Tanyong realizes that the original soul of the child has passed away, and she is now inhabiting the body.
Initially, she tries to tell everyone—including Pathawi, the handsome and talented doctor who is also Nong May's uncle—that she is a 25-year-old woman. When no one believes her, she decides to adapt and live as the young girl.

Life in a Small Body

Living as a 5-year-old with the mind of a 25-year-old, Tanyong experiences life through a new lens:
  • A Growing Bond: Pathawi dotes on his niece, and their closeness causes Tanyong to slowly fall in love with him—a true love she feels she can never express.
  • Family Turmoil: Tanyong uses her adult wisdom to help Pathawi resolve the misunderstandings and sabotage (caused by a woman named Prangthip) that were tearing Nong May’s parents, Praphatsorn and Methee, apart.
  • The Search for Herself: She tries to find news of her original body in newspapers and even calls her mother, Khun Bun-nga, but no one believes a child claiming to be a grown woman.

The Turning Point

After three months, just as Nong May's parents reconcile, tragedy strikes. Out of jealousy, Prangthip hires someone to rob the house and kill Nong May. During the struggle, the attacker slams the child’s head against a wall. Pathawi rescues her, but the injury leads them back to the hospital.
There, Tanyong encounters her real mother, Khun Bun-nga, and collapses into her arms crying "Mother." This confirms Pathawi’s long-standing suspicions. Tanyong confesses the whole truth to him. Pathawi is heartbroken; he loves the child "Nong May," but he has also come to love the soul of Tanyong.

The Ultimate Sacrifice

Tanyong learns that her original body has been in a vegetative state for months. Pathawi faces a grueling dilemma: if Tanyong leaves Nong May's body to return to her own, the family loses the child forever. However, keeping her there is an injustice to Tanyong's grieving parents.
Ultimately, Pathawi chooses the truth and tells Tanyong she must return to her own life. To trigger the switch, Tanyong (in Nong May's body) jumps from the stairs at the exact same time as the original accident (midnight).

Resolution

Nong May passes away, and Tanyong’s spirit lingers for six agonizing days, watching Pathawi mourn and confess his love to her comatose body. Finally, Tanyong awakens in her original body. The couple is reunited in happiness. Meanwhile, Praphatsorn and Methee eventually have another daughter—the reincarnation of the original Nong May's soul returning to her family.
