Alisa Saowaros, or Pat, is a beautiful single woman working as an entertainment news anchor for a famous TV station. One night, she finds herself fleeing her home in a total mess. Don't misunderstand—she isn't eloping! It turns out her nosy neighbor was burning incense for a ritual and accidentally set the whole neighborhood ablaze. With her house gone, Pat has to meticulously search for a new place to live.
Destiny (or perhaps a prank from the heavens) leads her to become a member of "Baan Saen Sook" (The Happy House). This is where the great chaos of Pat's life truly begins.
The house is managed by Paktong, or Tong, a young man with a "Chinese-look" face who isn't nearly as kind as he looks. He is incredibly sharp-tongued and as narrow-minded as his eyes are small. His bitterness is at an all-time high after having his heart crushed into pieces, leading him to declare all women "Public Enemy Number One."
The house has two other residents: Wanchana (Wan), a popular and charming DJ who loves cleanliness and order just like Pat; and Duangjai (Duang), a tough, adventurous, and optimistic girl—though she’s such a dreamer and so soft-hearted that she can be a bit ditzy at times.
As if that wasn't enough, there's Laura, the spicy girl next door who constantly stirs up trouble. Then there's Aunt Naem and her nephew, who are always eager to "serve" the residents in every possible way, though their help usually results in unexpected disasters.
Everyone tries their hardest to live together in peace (or as much as they can). But then, by some stroke of karma, Pat’s distant relative, Kia, suddenly moves in. With Kia's teenage energy added to this gang of singles, the chaos becomes legendary and never-ending.
