Manimekhala

Manimekhala, daughter of the Ocean, is a celestial goddess of the vast skies. Lord Amarin (Indra) was so captivated by her that he asked to take her as a consort in the heavenly realm. However, because of her playful nature and her love for the freshness of water, whenever it rains, Mekhala secretly takes Indra’s crystal orb (the “Vajra”) to play in the rain for her own amusement—its radiant light reflecting brilliantly.
