Dao Pra Sook

This is the story of Dao Phra Suk, whose mother abandoned her at a hospital immediately after giving birth. The hospital cared for her until a family adopted her as their foster child.
Life in her new home is a struggle; her foster father is submissive to his wife, Khun Nai Marasri, a cruel stepmother. Fortunately, Dao Phra Suk has Pikul, a nanny who protects and helps her survive Marasri's frequent beatings.
One day, however, Khun Nai Marasri fires Pikul. Left without her protector, Dao Phra Suk is forced to raise the stepmother's four children alone. She is burdened with all the housework and cooking for everyone in the family, while continuing to endure brutal physical abuse at the hands of the Khun Nai.
