Synopsis
Saroj, a paralyzed elderly billionaire, instructs Phiphat, the family’s lawyer, to draft a will leaving his inheritance to his long-lost daughter, Or. In the past, Saroj was a gangster. He was infatuated with a beautiful woman named Duangjai, but she already had a lover named Samruay. Saroj falsely accused Samruay of robbery, causing him to be imprisoned, and then abducted Duangjai. Duangjai later had a daughter with Saroj named Or, who has a distinctive red birthmark on her right shoulder.
After being released from prison, Samruay reunited with Duangjai, and she fled with Or to live with him. Saroj sent men to track them down and had Samruay killed. He offered to cover the funeral expenses on the condition that Duangjai return to live with him. Out of fear and for her child’s future, she agreed, asking only to complete the funeral first. However, after the funeral, she disappeared with her child.
Saroj later married several women but had no more children. One day, he fell down the stairs while drunk and became paralyzed. Jurai, a close relative, and her son Thanet (Tum) came to take care of him, hoping to inherit his wealth.
Phiphat is an honest, middle-class lawyer who lives with his meddlesome older sister, Phromphan. He has three children: Pitsawong, the unreliable eldest daughter who runs a small market stall; Phuwanat, the responsible second son and a junior civil servant whom Phiphat loves dearly; and Phakphum, the rebellious youngest son whom Phromphan dotes on.
Jurai becomes obsessed with discovering the contents of Saroj’s will. She attempts to bribe Phiphat, but he refuses. She then befriends Phromphan, despite previously disliking her, and offers her money to spy on Phiphat. However, Phromphan only finds a handwritten note by Saroj.
Thanet later tells Jurai about a girl selling flower garlands at a traffic intersection who resembles Or. He tracks her down and learns her name is Onjit (also called Meow). Jurai devises a plan: she hires Onjit to impersonate Or, instructing her to pretend to be mentally impaired to avoid questioning.
As the story unfolds, multiple relationships and conflicts develop. Phakphum meets Onjit, while Phuwanat meets Suthasinee, a woman who resembles Duangjai. Suspicion grows that Suthasinee may be the real Or. Meanwhile, Jurai continues manipulating events to secure the inheritance.
After Saroj’s death, the will is revealed: all assets go to Or. Jurai and Phiphat each receive 2 million baht, and if Or cannot be found, the estate will be donated to charity. Furious, Jurai intensifies her schemes, including blackmail, deception, and violence.
Complications escalate as Onjit becomes entangled romantically with multiple men, including Thanet, Phuwanat, and Phakphum. Jurai manipulates situations to control Phiphat and forge a new will. Meanwhile, Phiphat begins to suspect that Suthasinee and her mother Rattaya are actually Duangjai and the real Or.
Eventually, the truth is revealed: Suthasinee is the real Or, and Rattaya is Duangjai. Jurai’s plans begin to unravel. Violence erupts among the characters—kidnappings, assaults, and revenge plots unfold.
In the climax, Jurai shoots and kills Onjit. While fleeing, she falls into an electrified canal and dies. Thanet jumps in to help but is electrocuted as well. Phakphum is shot and later dies from his injuries.
In the end, justice prevails. Rattaya and Suthasinee inherit Saroj’s fortune. Suthasinee marries Phuwanat, and they live happily together, while Phromphan continues her meddlesome ways, convinced she is always doing the right thing.
