The Dechachodom family is a large and well-known clan, with a strong reputation dating back to the grandfather’s generation. He had three sons: Kamjai, Amnuay, and Amnat. Amnat, the youngest, was the grandfather’s favorite because he was more capable than his older brothers.
When the grandfather passed away, most of the inheritance—including the family home and all business assets—was given to Amnat. Kamjai and Amnuay each received only ten percent. No one dared to object, but the decision caused resentment among the family members.
All the siblings continued to live within the Dechachodom compound, each family in their own separate house. Kamjai is hot-tempered and impulsive. He is married to Renu, who is quiet and submissive. They have a son named Aisoon and a daughter named Chalobon.
Kamjai also allowed Sunthorn, a long-time loyal servant and his right-hand man, along with Sunthorn’s daughter Krongthong, to live in a smaller house on the property. Krongthong helps with both company work and household duties.
