“Khing Ko Ra, Kha Ko Raeng” (1990) tells the story of a young female journalist, Nich, and a passionate businessman, Paweer.
Nich has an older sister, Poranee, who is the mistress of Pairut—the father of Piangpen. Paweer’s father is Saranat, while his mother, Rungthip, suffers from mental illness and has been hospitalized after being unable to cope with Saranat’s infidelity. While in the hospital, she opens up to a nun named Srisuda.
Nich becomes entangled with Saranat and Paweer after publishing an incorrect news report. Determined to make amends, she tries to apologize to Saranat, but Paweer initially stands in her way. However, her persistence eventually pays off, and she succeeds in apologizing before leaving.
Fate brings them back together when Nich visits Rungthip. Touched by Nich’s sincerity and kindness, Rungthip grows fond of her. As Nich continues to visit frequently, Rungthip’s condition gradually improves to the point where she is able to return home. However, when Saranat and Paweer come to take her back, she refuses to go with them and instead chooses to stay at Nich’s house.
